@AshworthBen He obviously knows millions times more than me, but it just feels like he’s getting old. Feels like he hasn’t adapted to the changes in the game, and it feels like he lost a step (and his energy) after his heart episode before the Arkansas NCAA loss a couple years ago.

Bill Self has done a pretty lousy job with this roster. His worst tendencies (loyalty to his personal favorites, aversion to running plays for the 3 point ball, quick hook on newcomers) have really handcuffed this team

I get the whole facing the 1-2-3 pocket in 7th and Rays mentality on not throwing certain innings facing parts of the order but not when you have Erceg pitching the 7th and Smith & Stratton pitching the 8th. This is 1000% on Q tonight and I haven’t even been very critical.
