City bidding £120mil for a player Newcastle had to sell to comply with FFP while still having not had a single punishment for 115 charges. On the day Everton are punished yet again for one overpayment that only occurred because of the War in Ukraine. Football has become a farce

@DayNogs @SJview Newcastle did not have to sell Anderson They chose to sell him Yes they had PSR issues and they had to sell to comply But their were other players they could have sold but they decided he was the one within the squad that was replaceable So it was Howe’s decision

@eichel_robert No they haven't. But Chelsea have and got far less. If City ate guilty then they wont have anything near to what we've got.

@CmPooley1972 Okay, so lets use Chelsea as an example instead. Far worse. More breaches, less punishment.

@DayNogs Everton were found guilty of multiple breaches and admitted to them to receive a reduced punishment ( which they did). City have denied the charges and fought all the way to obstruct the process. Burnley winning the case is grossly unfair.

@DaveC45 Where in the small print does it say 14 clubs can do one thing and 6 clubs can do whatever they like. Including try to leave the league by the way which they wasn't punished for

@DayNogs Should have read the small print, you and Forest have wealthy owners who have been hamstrung by protectionism, City are the last team who broke through the ceiling and they won’t let anyone else in.

@DayNogs Id argue that you're all pissed off because it feels like yet again the EPL is against you. But if you read the findings you'll see the IC actually ruled in your favor a number of times.

@Mancityno1 Quick question. Who decides that less severe rule breaking deserves more punishment? 1 charge equals 40mil fine and a record points deduction due to stadium payments. 74 charges. 0 points deduction, 10mil fine. Multiple trophies won. Was that agreed when they all voted?

The vast difference in total cost of very different “rule breaking” for 2 Premier League clubs: 💰 — 🔵⚪️ EVERTON narrowly overspending on PSR due to interest payments on a new stadium at the end of the 2021/22 season: - Loss of league position prize money = £27m - Compensation to Burnley = £40m - Legal and administrative costs defending multiple cases, appeals and the Burnley tribunal = £17m (Not to mention damage to brand, damage to squad mentality, damage to prospect of potential new signings & attracting potential managers & new ownership, damage to sponsors and massive reduction in broadcasting and commercial income) TOTAL COST: £84m 💰 — ⚪️🔵 Chelsea blatantly cheating for 7 straight years with 74 for charges for funnelling £47.5m in 36 secret, off the books payments (via shady third parties and offshore entities) to unregistered agents & player reps from 2011-2018 to grease deals for stars like Hazard, Willian, Eto’o, Ramires, David Luiz, Schürrle and Matic in order to win: ▪️ 2012 UEFA Champions League ▪️ 2012 FA Cup ▪️ 2013 UEFA Europe League ▪️ 2015 Premier League ▪️ 2015 League Cup ▪️ 2017 Premier League ▪️ 2018 FA Cup TOTAL COST: £10.75m 💰 — CHELSEA escaped with a mere £10.75m fine for systematically concealing backhanded payments over seven years to rig transfers and gain real sporting advantage by winning 7 trophies during their 7 year period of dodgy deals. This grotesque disparity, punishing the likes of Everton who could have - and arguably should have - been relegated with the harsh points deductions issued, while slapping the wrist of the profligate powerful, exposes football’s rotten core.. rules enforced not by justice, but by current club size, influence and the Premier League’s embarrassingly obvious selective blindness. It’s even more laughable when you consider the three panel members who decided to issue this ground breaking never been done before compensation claim to Burnley from Everton.. were somehow the same three panel members who dished out the harshest points deduction in English top flight history to Everton for the very same reason!? How on earth is that allowed? English football, rotten to the core!

@PnlChelsea @ShirleyWhirley8 Everton were found to have no on field advantage, but still got a 10 point deduction and now a £40mil fine. Chelsea had 74 charges, multiple illegal payments to agents won a league and a Champions League in that time. No points deduction and 10mil fine. Which is worse?

@DayNogs @ShirleyWhirley8 Chelsea weren't in breach of PSR. Everton were, and not for the reasons so many of you keep deluding yourselves about.

Man City have spent close to 500 million on players in just the last 18 months and are now banging in 120 million bids on Premier League midfielders. They are really taking the absolute piss out of the Premier League and these #115 charges. On the same day Everton are punished again for financial breaches of rules in 2021. You actually couldn't make it up🫢 Where is the ruling on City????
