Boys aren’t jumping fences, riding bikes for miles, running from dogs, and jumping up and down cars all day while hooping multiple times per day either. All that landing, running, changing direction was building strength. As a kid, I didn’t even know what sore really was.

@DdotMooree The Achilles tears when it’s stretched too far and loaded too much for that position. You’re supposed to push off the ball of your foot—if his heel was on the ground too (negative step stretching the Achilles) then it’d be a problem
