I'm sorry, but watching a bunch of new construction go up around me, it all looks cheap. I watched the house on the left get knocked down and replaced with the one on the right and Left looks like it would have stood for 100 years while Right...... doesn't.

PSA: NEVER buy a house from a boomer. Wait for prices to fall, and/or buy new construction, which typically leads price declines. Housing materials, appliances, and architecture have advanced a lot since the boomers bought their McMansions for a strawberry.

Looks like the entire African Tech / Dev community is frozen out from replying Levels … coz he don’t follow any and no-one he follows , follows any. But seems to have cured the Bot replies. Then with the incentive for more localised content being rewarded ; X is following the world trend of isolationism and nationalism. History will show if this is a good or bad thing I guess.

So @nikitabier implemented @photomatt's idea to stop AI bots from destroying the reply section on here
You can set it to only allow people you follow and the people in turn they follow to reply, nobody else
If on average ppl follow 500 people that means still 500*500=250,000 possible repliers
But all the spammers are isolated out 👏

@VeryVegeta @bowtiedgerman Couldn’t you play in hyper local tournaments? When it was known I wasn’t playing college baseball (too small), I switched to a tournament team in my town that played tournaments no further than 30min away.
Played with friends, barely traveled, and was <$500 per season.

How about you pay for a membership to a local YMCA. Shoot hoops, lift weights, learn how to swim!

I had another baseball dad sitting in front of me the other day. We got into where our kids train etc.
The shock when I said my 12 yr old lifts weights was amazing and disheartening.
The fact that people still think this way is wild.
A baseball dad saying 12 yr old kids shouldn’t lift weights…
Make it make sense….
If anything, proper strength training prepares kids to handle those exact demands more safely, with better technique and less risk of injury.
Same dad is going to be shocked when his kid doesn’t make the high school team because he is too weak.
