The Implementation Committee of the Cooperation Agreement between the National Govt and Nairobi County today held its inaugural meeting chaired by Nairobi Governor @SakajaJohnson. The Committee will oversee implementation of agreed projects between the two levels of government.

The training targets Water, Health & Agriculture sectors to strengthen project oversight, boost community involvement, align projects with CIDPs & ADPs, and reduce stalled projects. Teams are working across 14 counties including Baringo, Embu, Kakamega, Kilifi, Turkana & Vihiga.

@Devolution_KE, in partnership with @giz_gmbh, has launched a two-week capacity-building exercise for Project Management Committees (PMCs) to strengthen public participation and citizen engagement across counties, supporting accountable governance and improved service delivery.

The County Inclusion Units (CIUs) will help counties integrate inclusion into governance systems & development programmes and counties will be better positioned to ensure development priorities reflect the diverse needs of all citizens. #DevolutionKE #Equity
