@Nafeesa1404 There isn't any reason to be sad about what you said, when u didn't mean any harm. Just look away. You already told her the truth.

I ran into one of my old best friends today, and I noticed she has gained quite a bit of weight. While we were talking, I jokingly told her she should start going to the gym to stay fit and maybe burn some fats. That comment led us into a deeper conversation about her PCOS journey and everything she’s been dealing with. Afterwards, I felt really bad about what I said. I didn’t mean any harm, I was just trying to show concern and check on her well-being but it didn’t come out the right way. I honestly didn’t realize that PCOS could still be such a challenge even after having a child.

@talk2veee Majority of Nigerian women are toxic, they aren't brought up to love, but to be loved and worship. That's why the higher they are qualified the more they want an established person they can fear unless they won't stop respecting their man. It's funny though, but it's also strange

“Female lecturers are very good but I strongly feel that the best time to marry a female lecturer is before she gets the job. It is best to meet her outside and help her get the job than to "jam" her as a lecturer. Unless you are prepared for headache. Ladies are best suited for marriage in their lowest not in their highest. The more a lady argues this, the more likely she's to be a pain and serious headache in marriage. Let me explain further. Imagine approaching a lady with a PhD who's lecturing in a university already, but still single. Her expectations would be so high that you would be intimidated. Female lecturers are intelligent and only very rich men can truly earn their respect. If they "manage" to marry you while you are struggling, you may use your nose to smell your anus in the marriage. It takes the grace of God for a lady who has more qualifications than her husband to mellow down. Then if she adds lecturing job to it, it becomes a huge problem. If she's lecturing in a federal university, the case is even worse. I think it's best to marry a "small girl" and help her become a lecturer than to marry an already established female lecturer. What do you think?” Uche Ike wrote this and he is being dragged to filth😆😆😆😆

That's bogus fiqh. Fiqh isn't Shariah. Fiqh is deduced from customs at the time is was codified. Show me one verse of Hadith that says this? There are none. This is the logic of the 11th century when the Arabs ruled and enslaved many people. You would have been the slave of an Arab women. That was normal back then. Conquerors normally have many slaves and law was written for them, not you. Muslims don't have to follow the rules of the Abbasid Dynasty.

If she grew up with a maid. Islamic law says her husband must provide one too, if he can afford it. Thats not a demand. That’s fiqh. Culture told her to be grateful for less. Islam already gave her more.

Is it not too early for marriage palava like this🙆 I don't want to believe that their are men who count meat in the soup. It’s the man that will measure grains the wife will cook and still use his mouth to cut and share meat for her wife and kids. I no wan believe this oo.

Let me tell you a real life story. Every morning when I go to work, I see an agbo seller selling herbal concoctions to some young boys in the area. Every morning. Looking at the timing (before 8AM), it is likely that these herbs are the first thing they drink when they wake up. This is not what really bothers me. What really bothers me is the location. There's only one building separating the hospital from the place. Imagine waking up and drinking herbal concoctions every day while living next to a hospital. They clearly don't care about the implications of long-term use of these concoctions. Another thing that baffles me is why they feel the need to drink it every morning. Is it a form of prophylaxis against certain conditions, or is it just general preventive medicine? Or they just enjoy drinking it? Only they can answer this question. Long-term use of herbal concoctions is an established cause of chronic kidney disease. We see and manage these patients every day. This isn't bluffing.
