Today's wander was an hilly 18 miler, picking up the North Downs Way after many years. Started in a foggy Cuxton, crossed the Medway bridge, then up to the downs. Saw darkage burial chamber, lots of sunny views. Now passed half way stage on NDW. @NorthDownsWayNT @NationalTrails

Busy half term week. Completed 2 more stages of @YorksWoldsWay from Thixendale to Wintringham then on to Ganton. Temperatures ranging from<0°to 14°. One more stage to go! Lovely pie lunch in @BurythorpePub today too. @VisitYorksWolds

Today's @EnglandPath coast walk with the boy started at the shipping-trolley display in the Medway mud at Strood, visited Rochester cathedral and castle, on to Chatham, St Mary's Island then Gillingham. #kent

#FingerpostFriday spent the early afternoon in Hertford @Drex80 seeing exactly how much of the original #NewRiverPath is walkable now @networkrail have needlessly closed 2 level crossings -turns out not much b4 finding padlocked gates-we did find a decent alternative route tho
