@EightCountEddie @ShaneSchaetzel Tell us these jewish 'values' that are so cherished by America and the west. Gays? trans? antichrist? ... These are what israel values most, besides money, power and greed of course.

Supporting the State of Israel’s existence is not Zionism. Just like supporting Mexico’s existence is not Chicanism. There are no words for these things. It’s just common sense. All countries have a right to exist, so long as they follow basic laws of civility. And Israel has the same “right to exist” that Mexico does, no more and no less.

Looks like mail-in ballots were used again to rig the election in Virginia. The vote count also jumped 64,000 "yes" votes in 5 mins. Sometimes, you have to let them show you how they cheat, to catch them cheating, to charge them for cheating.

@KenCuccinelli Why was there no injunction to stop the election? Probably too late now.

The "yes" vote has won Va's redistricting referendum — but the legal fight is just beginning. Four Va Constitutional challenges are now teed up: THREE challenges to the amendment process itself: 1️⃣ First passage was invalid. The amendment was taken up during a special session convened in 2024 for budget purposes. The General Assembly's own call to the Governor (under Art. IV, §6 and Art. V, §5) and its governing resolution (HJR 6001) limited the session's scope. Expanding it to include a constitutional amendment on redistricting required a two-thirds vote that never occurred. A Tazewell County judge found this action "void, ab initio." 2️⃣ Art. XII, §1 requires that after first passage, a proposed amendment be "referred to the General Assembly at its first regular session held after the next general election of members of the House of Delegates." An election must intervene between first and second passage. Here, first passage occurred during an election cycle — not before an intervening one. 3️⃣ Art. XII, §1 requires the amendment be submitted to voters "not sooner than ninety days after final passage by the General Assembly." The timeline from second passage to the April 21 vote did not satisfy this requirement. Plus ONE challenge to the proposed maps: 4️⃣ Art. II, §6 requires that "every electoral district shall be composed of contiguous and compact territory." The proposed congressional maps violate this contiguity requirement (rather badly). Next stop, court. Stay tuned.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has been indicted. 11 counts of wire fraud and false statements. SPLC funneled over $3 million to persons in extremist groups - including the KKK and American Nazi Party. The extremists the SPLC investigated were on the SPLC payroll.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is a hardcore Christian Zionist who believes the Iran war is "divinely" ordained, and will help usher in Armageddon and the Second Coming of Christ. This requires the building of the Third Temple in Jerusalem and the coming of the Antichrist. Hear it straight from his mouth. FORWARD BOLDLY: The Pope vs. Trump youtube.com/watch?v=uxdljK…

SCOVA has not yet issued a final ruling on the underlying legal challenges to the amendment's validity or the process used to place it on the ballot. That from Grok. Also Florida is looking at redistricting and can offset the 4 seat gain in Virginia if they so choose. So the results tonight are not the final word on this.

Same. Hope I'm wrong. To be clear, Spanberger barely winning this would be a dismal result for her. She just won a few months ago by 15. Virginia is quickly losing confidence in her. But there are no "moral victories" here when losing means roughly 45% of the state is disenfranchised. I also reiterate it's *INSANE* that the state supreme court allowed this to go forward with the "restore fairness" ballot language. And courts wonder why people are losing confidence in them.
Varad Mehta@varadmehta

I can see "Yes" getting dragged below a 5 percent margin to squeak out a 3 percent win. I just can't see it losing, though.

@LarrySchweikart @JtheFree Per American Heritage dictionary: Pray: 6. To ask (someone) imploringly for something; beseech. Used chiefly in the phrase I pray you to introduce a polite or urgent request or question. "I pray you be careful."

I do not understand how someone can reasonably state that a family member or friend will pray for them here on Earth, but when they get to Heaven somehow its inconceivable that this loved one would still pray for them.

@EightCountEddie @JackPosobiec Respectfully we have completely different views...but we have for centuries and we've gotten along fine. I relate more with St Peter's version of the Church than what eventually became of the Catholic Church... but I wish you well

My point is that to obsess on the activities at the top is to miss completely the significance of the Church. Protestants believed the (inevitable) pathologies of a human organization could be easily cured by splitting off into other human organizations, only to see them subject to the same evils with much less strength. I have personally seen the tragedy of this. Your own pastor might be great but will not lead humanity back to orthodoxy. I have hope the priests will do so.

@EightCountEddie @JackPosobiec I'm not sure what that has to do with anything I said.... but I like to see the questions. Since you popped back in… Feel free to explain why the Vatican continues to turn a blind eye to China's communism and forced slave labor x.com/JoeDanMedia/st…
Joe Dan Gorman@JoeDanMedia

Vatican gives godless Communist China a FREE PASS, while it attacks the US on immigration/capitalism/walls/wars The Vatican allows the CCP to select their bishops in China. The Catholic Church silent on CCP's use of 5.8 Million slaves for forced labor. This is Peter's church?

@EightCountEddie @JackPosobiec Agreed. And it's a claim I'd never make. But there's no 'equivalent' to the Pope among any other Christian factions/any other religion in general, for that matter. Not even close. It's one of our pastors get outta line, we fire him or find a new church - we never defend him

How do you rig an election? You rig the question. Look at this ballot asking Virginians to flip a 6D-5R congressional map to 10D-1R, breaking up every region of the Commonwealth. Yet the ballot says “to restore fairness.” Rigged. VOTE NO.

My 2023 RCIA class taught us the theology that has been more or less the same for at least 1,500 years. Including proscription on birth control & family planning, which was true of Protestant churches until 1930. Given the West’s imminent population collapse due to low birth rate, the Catholic position seems the true one to me. GK Chesterton said the Catholic Church is not a survivor, but rather has died & been resurrected many times. Almost all schisms were led by elites including some popes, while restorations have come from the body of believers. Happening today with the Traditional Latin Mass in high demand & the prevalence of orthodoxy among the priests, often in spite of Rome & Vatican 2. I invite you to have a look at the Catholic Church with fresh eyes. Peace.

A perfectly defensible trade-off that those who turn market economics into an ideology too quickly dismiss. However, protectionist policies must be very carefully thought through, as the idiotic “Liberation Day” tariffs were not (and thus can only discredit sound tariff policy).
