Economy Minister @conormurphysf attended an event in Belfast today highlighting the concept of employee ownership – a concept whereby employees acquire a stake in a business as a group and become more involved in decision making and the direction of the business. Minister Murphy said: “The employee ownership model very much aligns with the economic plans I set out when I took up office earlier this year. And I’m pleased to see that awareness of this business model and its associated benefits is growing. Events like this will increase that awareness. It will – hopefully - encourage more businesses across the north to move to a position where employees own – and are intrinsically invested in - the success of their organisation.” Pictured at the Ownership Succession Breakfast in Belfast are L-R: Paul Millar, Chairman of the Chartered Accountants Ulster Society; Economy Minister Conor Murphy; Aidan O'Neill, DLD Fund and Jeremy Fitch, Executive Director, Business Growth, Invest NI

We are lucky in Northern Ireland that theatre appears in lots of different places and forms. Take a child to the theatre today - or any day you can! Thanks @CahootsNI for everything you do to make theatre accessible for young people! 👏
