The SPR should be used as an asset to protect global energy, not as an ATM machine to win midterms. Thanks to President Trump and @SecretaryWright, we are exchanging oil barrels to meet supply disruption while receiving additional barrels at no cost to the U.S. taxpayer.

Thanks to President Trump ending the war on coal, DOE is strengthening American coal power. @ENERGY’s actions are protecting 45 coal plants and 42 coal mines, securing over 40 GW of power, supporting more than 12,500 American jobs, and advancing a large-scale coal terminal.
