$TSLA FSD 14 will start rolling out to Biased Influencers later this year and the general public sometime next year. FSD 14 will likely complete ~99% of trips without a critical disengagement, short of the 99.9999% accuracy necessary for nationwide adoption of a robotaxi service.

Many more Tesla self-driving V14 improvements still to come, but wide rollout of V14.1 has begun. 14.2 rolls out in a few weeks and then 14.3 a few weeks later, depending on safety testing. There is so much change that we are carefully confirming each one.

This will substantially reduce the need for driver attention, but some complex intersections, heavy weather or unusual events will still require attention. Note, the Austin robotaxi FSD build is ~6 months more advanced than what is available in cars in America and there are some additional breakthroughs in Tesla AI that will make the car feel eerily human.

FSD v14.2 The 7th release of v14. “Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, leveraging higher resolution features to further improve scenarios like handling emergency vehicles, obstacles on the road, and human gestures” I think there is more packed in there. 😀
