whoever builds Gmail app search should be burned at the stake. everytime i use this app i want to kill myself

To me, you can't remove or 'undo' Palantir (as the average person, anyway). It's going to sound counterintuitive, but the best you can do is try to contribute to or create tools that can counter this, especially in the FOSS intelligence domain. The right people, with the right tools can do a lot of real world good. The current situation we have now with the abuse & control occur due to the exclusive/privileged ways this technology is distributed.
