New episode alert! This one with @madymantha, co-founder/CTO of @Happypillar_app. Trying a new experiment, and including the whole thing right here on X! Mady comes from an AI background for years (various leadership roles in product, engineering, and marketing at multiple machine learning startups). As the Director of Conversational AI at Sirius, she led the team that developed Walmart’s conversational AI, which was featured in the Wall Street Journal. Mady's co-worker at the company they worked at together before Happypillar, Sam Gardner, was inspired to create Happypillar after facing significant challenges with her older son’s behavior during the height of the pandemic and having a great experience with a professional that utilized a therapeutic approach that involves both parent and child. It was a transformative experience, and she realized other families could benefit from it, partnered with Mady, and set out to develop a technology-driven solution to make behavioral therapy more accessible to a broader range of parents. Some key learnings from this episode: - how an AI expert can partner with a domain expert to define a more accessible AI offering that was previously human-delivered and $$$. - in which ways the human expert needs to stay involved - how they utilized AI internally to build an AI product, both on the product side and marketing ops - how it has enabled them to go further with less funding - how they think about the future of AI and its implications for startups like theirs Really good one, I hope you learn as much from it as I did!

my theory is that men don’t like the newborn phase because, relative to not having a newborn, it’s worse, but for women, relative to being pregnant it’s much better
