On February 30th every year, the World Gelato Scooping Championship takes place at the luxurious Richmond Hill Hotel. Contestants are marked on the quality of their spoonmanship, precision of scoop and aesthetic artistry.

We don’t own a ceremonial sword, but if they ever visit our kitchen, we’ll be ready to dub them with a giant spoon.

We’re not sure what King Charlie was thinking the last time he gave out honours, but he forgot to knight or dame the genius at Hache Burger who sandwiched our Rich Chocolate sorbetto in a toasted brioche bun.

Our Madagascan Vanilla gelato is often employed to test the structural strength of desserts. Here you can see a wild berry fruit bake laden with three heavyweight scoops of the good stuff performing admirably and showing minimal signs of foundational damage.

@robert_legge @Ocado Ciao Robert. It is one that Ocado normally stock so they may have just run out of stock. We now call it ‘Rich Chocolate Sorbetto’ and hopefully it should be back on their virtual shelves soon. Buon appetito.

Seen here lounging backstage with a Biscoff cheesecake, our Dark Chocolate is so rich it owns 16 Bugattis, several super yachts and approximately half of Shropshire. And like other rich things, it doesn’t pay any taxes.
