This war is absolutely black and white. Russia is attacking civilians, bombing Ukraine’s energy system and trying to make people freeze in their homes at –20°C (–4°F). And it’s still happening. More in my comments to @TheDailyJagran

Kyiv. Another massive Russian attack on energy infrastructure lasted all night — clearly not a sign of peace. Deep gratitude to our air defenders and to our partners who continue providing vital support — despite the aggressor’s fake “peace” talk.

After yet another humiliation by the U.S., all the Russian dictator can do is attack civilians and try to freeze Ukrainians in their homes. Secondary sanctions proposed by Senator @LindseyGrahamSC could be a justified response!

Met with the Bundestag’s Budget Committee yesterday. Today the 2026 budget will be voted on. It includes €11.5 billion in military aid for Ukraine. Truly grateful to our 🇩🇪colleagues — and to the German people.

The only way to end the war is to force Putin to stop. The US holds the most powerful tool — secondary sanctions on Russia and those who keep trading with it. Cut off the funding, and Putin will have to stop the war. I said this on @CBSNews
