I always went back and forth with that,
For or against going straight in with a calendly link.
I was usually pretty specific about why I was asking for a call, what I aimed to talk about and usually a disclaimer saying I wasn’t trying to sell them anything.
It was also mainly through LinkedIn, where I posted pretty much daily about crypto.
I got up to like 12,000 followers before I stopped writing on there.
Which I think somewhat helped with the trust element, I’d usually have a lot of mutual connections with the people I was asking.
I’m still not convinced which is better, opening message then ask or just go straight for it,
I theorised that most people were pretty busy so going straight for the ask was what I settled on.
