This morning we celebrated the completion of Greenhill Centre with our partners @newhamlondon and the Mayor of Newham @rokhsanafiaz. The development delivers 81 affordable Passivhaus Classic homes at London Affordable Rent including 8 wheelchair units. f.mtr.cool/oaxcrgofse

At Buckland Street in Hoxton, we're delivering 54 mixed tenure new homes with @hackneycouncil.  All apartments face south, making the most of the sunlight, with most having indented and curved south-facing balconies to improve privacy, sunlight penetration, & being overlooked.

We marked the official start on site at Somerleyton Road with @lambeth_council, delivering 187 new social & affordable homes in Brixton. The wider scheme will provide 378 homes, a community gym, care homes, new spaces and major public realm improvements. tinyurl.com/y2tp98x6

We hosted a site visit at our York Way Estate development with our partners AFK Charity. Young people toured the site and learned about careers in construction, including supported internships. Great to help showcase pathways into the industry. #Islington #careers #construction

Further progress at our Summerstown development, which is providing 93 much-needed affordable homes in partnership with Wandle.  The single 8-storey building will include 39 London Living Rent homes and 54 Shared Ownership homes, all energy-efficient & built to a high standard.

We're proud to be supporting the Young Lewisham Project with a donation towards raffle prizes for their March Open Day. We're also volunteering our time to help prepare for the Open Day, supporting the fantastic work they do  for young people in the community. @lewishamcouncil

As part of our 65th anniversary, we look at where it started. In 1961 Derek Higgins OBE & his wife Olive bought a van & founded D J Higgins & Sons with three young sons at home. Their first contract? £36.10s. From those foundations, Higgins continues building communities today.
