@CrimeLdn He shouldn’t be in the UK and he certainly shouldn’t be free to wander about doing this. The politicians who allow this to continue need to be held criminally accountable. If they were this would stop tomorrow.

@RupertLowe10 Even if it meant the fees increasing a bit, think it would be fairer to set the interest to zero. At least that would give students a worst case scenario situation rather than having to watch their loans spiral upwards.

Young British men and women get sucked into going to university for some pointless degree, saddled with insane levels of debt then spend years treading water paying off the mad amount of interest the state imposes on them. Many never once using the ‘skills’ they get ‘taught’ at university… All whilst thousands and thousands of foreign students defraud the student loans system, remain in Britain illegally and go on to claim benefits. My investigation through official parliamentary questioning uncovered that the number of Romanians claiming student loans has soared from 25,046 in 2019 to 78,325 in 2023. Why are these foreigners eligible to access our system? Cancel it. The entire system is bent. British youngsters spend thousands and thousands of pounds spent on these university courses. For what? A handful of teaching hours a week? It’s a scam. No other word for it. A total scam. They then go on to get a job, make a bit of money and try to find their way in the world. What do they get? Outrageous interest charges. It’s so extreme, many will never pay it off. It’s not repaying anything. It’s a tax, through ridiculously unfair rates. I entirely disagree with those my age who say how easy the youngsters have it - totally wrong. The system is designed to crush young aspiration - the idea of owning a home, raising a family, living in a pleasant area? For many in their 20s, it will simply not happen - through no fault of their own. Certainly not a reasonable timetable. Young British men and women do not have it easy. In fact, building a life in Britain has not been this challenging in many decades. The entire system needs a reset - giving those aspirational, dedicated, hardworking men and women the same opportunities that we had. The attitude must shift in school towards apprenticeships, training, investment. Actual skills, with real world application. And those who have already been through the scam shouldn’t be financially punished for the rest of their lives because of piss-poor political decisions. Reforming anything is not enough for these youngsters. The establishment needs to be smashed up, the machinery is all just so very rotten - that wheel must break. There is now a political party that backs those young Brits. That will scrap interest on their student loans, reward their hard work through slashed taxes and generally get the parasitic state out of their way. That party is Restore Britain. A party that will put the needs of young British men and women right at the top of the agenda. They’re the future and we will do whatever we can to support them.

Make Europe Great Again - M.E.G.A
🚨🇺🇸David Lammy, a British Labour Party politician, has recently criticized author J.K. Rowling over her comments about the ability of only women to get pregnant and give birth. Lammy strongly disagreed with Rowling's statement, asserting that her views were ""completely wrong"" and failing to acknowledge the complexities of gender identity and reproductive rights. Rowling's comments, which sparked widespread backlash, were seen by many as dismissive of the experiences and rights of transgender individuals. Lammy's response highlighted the importance of inclusivity and understanding when it comes to discussions about gender, particularly in the context of reproductive health. The debate has ignited a broader conversation about the intersection of gender, identity, and reproductive rights. Lammy’s outspoken stance is a call for greater awareness and respect for all individuals, regardless of gender identity, and the need for more inclusive dialogue on these sensitive issues.

@Handre Your description of the textbook “money multiplier” isn’t how it works in practice. Banks don’t lend because they get a deposit. They lend when they have a suitable borrower and enough capital to do so.

The greatest con job in human history—how commercial banks manufacture money from absolutely nothing and call it lending. When you deposit $1,000 cash at JPMorgan, the bank doesn't lock your money in a vault. They keep maybe $100 (a 10% reserve requirement) and immediately lend out $900 to someone else. But here's where the fraud begins: they don't delete your $1,000 balance. Your account still shows $1,000 while they hand $900 cash to a borrower. The money supply just expanded to $1,900 from your original $1,000 deposit. And the scam multiplies. That borrower deposits the $900 at Wells Fargo, which keeps $90 and lends out $810. The depositor's account shows $900, the new borrower gets $810 cash—now we have $2,710 in circulation from your original $1,000. This fractional reserve process continues until the banking system transforms your single deposit into roughly $10,000 of circulating money. Banks collect interest on money they created from thin air while paying you 0.5% on your "deposit." They profit from lending money they never had, backed by deposits they've already lent out multiple times over. The Federal Reserve enables this pyramid scheme by acting as lender of last resort when depositors actually want their money back. Every dollar in your checking account represents a claim on the same underlying reserves as nine other dollars. When you swipe your debit card, you're spending digital entries backed by a fraction of real money—and the banks are collecting interest on the difference. This example is taken from Murray Rothbard's "The Mystery of Banking".

@JohnCleese I don’t care if other religions are being explored. The UK is a Christian country. It has been a mistake to show Islam any tolerance. Tolerance without reciprocation makes you a victim.

@PeterLBrandt Did smaller DD over time come with smaller returns (i.e did you just take less risk) or was that due to genuinely better risk management as you maintained returns?

@OliLondonTV Why is it that it’s always Islam that people pick on? Sure they’ve murdered thousands of people in terrorist attacks. Yes, they have raped and abused thousands of young girl across the UK. But apart from that ….

Does this silly little man not understand that Islam is a very aggressive belief system, threatening death to anyone who does not convert to Islam The Buddhists, the Taoists, the Scottish Presbyterians, the Hindus and the Sikhs and the Confucians and the Catholics don't go around shouting about beheading people they disagree with Is this too much for your tiny little brain to take in ? Oh. The doorbell rang. The police I assume...

Indeed. Whenever Jews are attacked (typically by Muslims), it is important to redouble our efforts to fight against Islamophobia.

The Fed has managed to destroy 99% of the dollar's purchasing power since 1913. What cost a dollar in 1913 now costs you over $30 — that's your "stable" monetary policy at work. Every Fed chair since Volcker has fed you the same line about "managing inflation expectations" while they systematically debased your savings. Powell prints trillions (calls it "quantitative easing" because it sounds scientific) then acts surprised when asset bubbles form and regular people can't afford groceries. The Austrians saw this coming a century ago. Mises wrote about the crack-up boom, Hayek explained how central planning destroys price signals — but hell, why listen to dead economists when you can trust the same institution that missed 2008, promised inflation was "transitory," and thinks 2% annual theft of your purchasing power counts as success.

This is a deeply shocking antisemitic arson attack.  My thoughts are with the Jewish community who are waking up this morning to this horrific news.  Antisemitism has no place in our society.  Anyone with any information must come forward to the police.

@IndependentRT @RupertLowe10 @Inevitablewest and at that point, our vote will be well and truly split. Ironically it could well then be Restore that ends up finishing this country off for good handing it on a plate to the opposition. I'm very worried.
