Yeah, I used to get $0.99 Whoppers from Burger King all the time in high school and college prior to 2008. Now I got a bunch of mendacious cultists trying to convince me that didn't happen.

@REdH_B @CarolinaLion2 I live in NYC until the late teens. Our burger king had a tuesday special 1.00 whoppers from 4pm to 8pm. It crept up to 1.39 to 1.49. To 2.49 then canceled 2018/2019

@theneonrequiem I go to gathering every now and then its like a gay nude camp ground for a week or so. Its a lot of fun. But yeah everyone has their own body and it is freeing

This will always be something I recommend all gay men do. It may sound ridiculous at first but the first time I went fully naked at a nude gay beach completely changed the way I view my body and the "pressures" gay men are under to look a certain way. My confidence was instantly fixed the second I realised that, in real life, these pressures are largely meaningless. When you're nude and no one is making a fuss because everyone else is nude too and they're of all shapes and sizes, you stop giving a f*ck about that stretch mark you never got rid of, whether you're bloated or not, if you're sitting at the right angle etc. You see couples, some conventionally attractive, some not at all, all calm and happy and free of judgement and you realise that there's someone for everyone and that no one necessarily agrees with you on what "attractive" looks like and how beautiful that is. Go. Go especially if you're insecure about your body. There's no pressure to take anything off at most of these beaches. But honestly, if you gather the nerve? Do it. You'll never see your body the same way again. And you'll certainly never care about what the internet has to say either. Happy dipping! ✌🏼🏳️‍🌈🏖️☀️🍆🍑

@notchrisvolpe Also Brooklyn Tech. We got a ticket for using the Metro card going to school on a federal day off to do volunteer work for a school project. We tried to explain but they kust ticketed us.

NYPD assaulting my friends when we were freshman at Brooklyn Tech for “fare evasion” is what radicalized me. We were all 14 years old, all had student metro cards, and all just wanted to get home at 3pm. It’s ridiculous that 20 years later this is still happening.

@notchrisvolpe I will counter that i do want a 2 person train crew until the signals and tracks are fixed. Ive spent too many mornings having to walk through the train car to do the platfork due to the queens manhattan tunnel breakdowns. And the 2 crew helped escort and open doors.

“90 percent of subway riders want a two person train crew” I can guarantee you that 99% of subway riders do not even think about it. And if you talk to us about it, we’ll all lean towards automation if it means trains that actually run on time.
