Township Economy explained. The answer to our unemployment crisis that is caused by our ignorant foreigner-loving politicians. They are lying when they say "removing foreigners won't create jobs".

@RSA_Xenophobe Just spoke about this study earlier to someone who said foreigners grew the township economy which is a lie because illegal immigration is leading to monopolisation of sectors of informal economy which drives down competition & that’s before the mafias. 👉 growthlab.hks.harvard.edu/wp-content/upl…

HOLY CRAP 🚨🚨 Albania’s anti-corruption prosecutors just froze Kushner’s dirty assets in the $4 billion resort fraud probe. The jewish-linked land grab on the Albanian coast is collapsing under fraud investigations and furious public protests.

This is just peer pressure talking. You know very well no one is gonna bother you. Namibians don't even have a stereotype. We don't know if they steal jobs, cars, husbands, buildings. We don't know if they sell anything. A lot of South Africans have never even seen a Namibian.

@sherwiebp It’s not about what we’re doing locally because we have laws prohibiting ‘slavery’ here but it’s because we IMPORT from countries with companies using forced labour. SA does $5bn trade with those companies while USA does $169bn trade with them. Context. walkfree.org/global-slavery…

The Border Management Authority (BMA) successfully facilitated the departure of 933 Mozambican nationals through the Lebombo Port of Entry on 3 June 2026. Of those processed, 349 came from the Lindela Holding Facility as part of the Department of Home Affairs’ deportation programme, while 584 travelled from Mossel Bay with assistance from the Mozambican High Commission. All individuals underwent immigration checks, including identity verification and biometric screening. Authorities also dealt with cases involving undocumented individuals, immigration status verification, and 17 people who had overstayed their visas. The group included 38 minors, whose processing was overseen by the Department of Social Development. A total of 926 people were successfully returned to Mozambique, while seven were not permitted to depart due to documentation, immigration status, nationality verification, or child protection concerns. The operation was completed without incident and highlighted cooperation between South African and Mozambican authorities in managing lawful cross-border movement. @TheBMA_SA

@Bronx_wrangler @ChimCham7 @sherwiebp US could simply sanction those companies, none of their goods will be allowed in US, then put tariffs on all other countries still trading with them. Simpler & showing leadership. Instead we have this gimmick which is being leveraged as new reason for tariffs & no real change.

The US importers pay the tariffs. Not the exporters or the countries of origin. The pressure works both ways. It forces the US firms to find suppliers who are compliant and it reduces the income of the countries allowing Forced labour to continue. SA as an example imports from countries with forced labour. The tariffs are then used as a “penalty” on SA not to buy from Forced labour countries. This you have a situation where the pressure is placed at various levels to stop supporting forced labour.

The United States Office of the Trade Representative has PROPOSED new tariffs for 60 economies, including South Africa, related to what it describes as the failure to impose and effectively enforce a prohibition on the importation of goods produced with forced labor - calling it unreasonable and that it burdens or restricts U.S. commerce, and are thus actionable under Section 301(b) of the Trade Act. From their statement: "For economies that impose a forced labor import prohibition, that have committed to impose and enforce such a prohibition through an Agreement on Reciprocal Trade, or economies that have imposed a partial regime with the effect of preventing the importation of certain forced labor goods, the U.S. Trade Representative proposes 10% as the rate of additional duties.   For all other economies, the U.S. Trade Representative proposes 12.5% as the rate of additional duty." Police have arrested a foreign national and recovered over R440 000 in drugs and other items in an operation this evening. The Nigerian man was found in Lamontville, allegedly with cocaine. He is linked to drug dealing in that area, as well as Umlazi, Chatsworth and Umbilo. After he was interrogated, he led the team - consisting of the SAPS Economic Infrastructure Task Team, Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit, SAPS eThekwini District and Excellerate K9 Unit - to his flat in Umbilo. There, officers found crystal meth, drug manufacturing equipment and cash. The suspect’s passport and vehicle were also confiscated. He is due in court soon. @eNCA

@Bronx_wrangler @ChimCham7 @sherwiebp If the US importers are targeted do their imports lessen or stop or do the visors get passed on to the exporters? Look at the full picture & not just the propaganda. If US stopped it’s $169bn funding completely, those markets would weaken to the point of collapse anyway.

@IranEmbassyNot @ChimCham7 @sherwiebp It is clear that yo lack the basic understanding of how tariffs work. The firms importing from the countries into the US will pay the tariffs. This will force them to move their business. These tariffs target the US importers. Do you understand?
