The metric is 70% previous race finish and 30% points position ... so at 15th in owner points, that hurts Logano's score. Briscoe, Gibbs and Hamlin had strong enough finishes that their points position was able to lift them ahead of Logano.

Was Atlanta a good race? 90.1% of you said Yes. -- No. 4 Atlanta race out of 16 total in the poll. The top six are all New Atlanta races. -- No. 2 race of the season so far. No. 1 is spring Atlanta (92.6%), giving Atlanta the only two races in the 90%+ Club so far this year. -- No. 5 of 20 Ryan Blaney wins in the poll (No. 1 is Talladega 2020 in the pandemic with 94.3%) -- This is the 41st member of the 90%+ Club (out of 397 races). -- Fourth-highest vote total of the season (21.9k votes). Dover/Charlotte/Nashville/Michigan/Pocono all had fewer than 6k votes each (Pocono only had 1800!), then X fixed the algorithm for polls and the four races since have all gotten more than 15k votes.

@jeff_gluck Incredibly disappointing post race. Also the easiest yes I’ve maybe ever given. Atlanta is so fun, and the cup guys made it thrilling. They did NOT make it look easy.

@bobpockrass I’m not partial, but I’d think it wasn’t a violation. The spirit of the rule, I believe, is to keep, say, a three wide pass from taking place on the backstretch below the line. If there’s any doubt about if he went intentionally, which data probably provides, it’s clean.

NASCAR says they viewed it as Wallace advanced his position from third to second by going below the double line.

@ianoland The context matters, I’d agree. But I think his ceiling is higher than McMike’s, it’s almost a good contract in the context of the cap, the time is now, and he waived to come to DC. They were short by a Dude, and he’s been a Dude. Works for me.

Aggressive trade. I think a huge overpay, but in this market, you understand. Kyrou, 28, had 3 consecutive 30-goal seasons before posting the same amount of points (46) as Connor McMichael last season (McMike is 3 years younger and made exactly $6 million less last season).

@jeff_gluck This is shocking. I haven’t enjoyed a race as much in years. All the strategy was up there with the best F1 races, and what a race for the lead at the end. I guess it proves that we’re not all looking for the same thing from any given race.

Was Coronado a good race? 84.0% of you said Yes. -- No. 2 of 4 street races, but barely...the inaugural Chicago street race got 0.5% more (84.5%) -- No other comparisons to Coronado or Heim wins (first for both), but notable the vote problem was fixed this week. 25.9k votes was the most since Daytona 500 (this was boosted by a Dale Jr. quote tweet of the poll, but the poll still had 11k votes at the time of the QT)
