Two months ago I started as an organiser for North Cornwall, little did I know I’d be thrown into the deep end so quick. It has been tiring but great to have worked with such an experienced campaign team, have learnt so much. 14.7k Tory majority turned into a 10.7k LD majority!

It's a great pub (even if lucky saint is nearly £8), but it was a tragic shame on a Thursday at 8pm to see it so quiet compared to what it was a few years ago. Real change in Westminster culture at the election with staffers, there's definitely a sociography to be done on the way Parliament's composition affects the village

This has not happened. He has announced a decree, separate to his own, after pressure from the left. It has to be approved by Congress, which the government doesn’t have a majority for (so unlikely to pass) - hence being a decree separate from the more sensible one.

@ScottMoore0 Ok fair enough, not sure if you’re just doing stormont or also council, but was just concerned as while I appreciate people signed up to have their name public, in practice many can do it as a favour and don’t want the party affiliation / just want to support democracy.

@JoshMitte The signatures on nomination papers are often covered by the media. e.g. if someone from a different party signs nomination papers for someone, that is reported as notable (that often happens within unionism).

@PME_Politics All pollsters performed poorly at the last election, so they all revisited their modelling and devised new sampling correction factors. I'm sure YouGov did that - they weren't even commissioned to provide polls for many months. Comparison with pre-election is irrelevant.

YouGov had among the highest estimate for Reform in GE2024. That + my replies and QTs being a combination of "LEFT WING BIAS" and "off to work for the Tories are we?" is a pretty great endorsement of the neutrality that myself and YouGov pride ourselves and our work on, really😄

I agree Richard 100% ,I have never trusted YouGov and do worry you have an ex owner who was an establishment figure in the party ,I hate ever being negative towards you or reform but I do think it was a big mistake . YouGov are an establishment polling company in my opinion ,never to be trusted … injustice hope you have not allowed a fox in sheep’s clothing into the party .l.
