Life’s not fair, but if you work hard, stay committed to the industry, and make an impact with your abilities you’ll get recognized.

@JustinMosher2 @crystalcattle @HunterFrobose_9 Women do not now, nor have we ever had, the upper hand. Period. Equality is just that - equal opportunities for men and women. It’s not close to equal now. Elevating women to the same level as men doesn’t hurt men. Don’t panic - no one is pulling men down, that’ll never happen

Unpopular opinion: one day if she’s into it, I’d rather my daughter know she’s getting a phone call to judge a show because of her talent and abilities oppose to the fact that she’s a girl.

@crystalcattle @HunterFrobose_9 I do agree that some got overlooked, but not anymore. What is that teaching the next generation? That if you’re female you get the upper hand? What balance is that? What equality is that teaching? But then, all of a sudden stops? Oppose to hard work, integrity, and ability?

@JustinMosher2 @HunterFrobose_9 Because for too long there have been too many equally talented women be ignored. The push right now and perhaps for the next few years is about balancing the scales. Once it doesn’t become unusual to see a woman judge than it will likely go back to an unnecessary criteria.

@HunterFrobose_9 But why bring gender into the criteria? Why not talent, ability to speak on the mic, working with the kids, relevance in the industry etc? Doesn’t that make the criteria equal to all people? I have already suggested multiple female judges to people because of their talent

@HunterFrobose_9 Not an assumption, been to a few shows and have heard from people hiring that their criteria was “we only want a female judge”. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a long list of females in the industry that I respect and should get the opportunity.
