A name that has come up in trade talks is #Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte, who is entering the final year of his contract, according to multiple league sources. With Romeo Doubs coming in and the eventual AJ Brown trade, teams believe he could be available for the right price.

Former LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier underwent tests at the NFL combine that revealed a cyst on his spine — the root cause of the persistent oblique pain that derailed his 2025 season, sources say. The cyst was pressing on a nerve, causing discomfort in Nussmeier’s oblique. He has been asymptomatic since just prior to the Senior Bowl and all throughout the draft process; if that changes down the road, Nussmeier could undergo a minimally invasive procedure and miss just 2-3 weeks while stitches heal. Either way, doctors say, there is no short- or long-term risk for Nussmeier, who is projected a mid-round pick in this week’s NFL Draft.

An interesting draft tidbit, via @AdamSchefter: Miami OL Francis Mauigoa has a herniated disc in his back that is considered asymptomatic. Even with the injury, he’s expected to be the first OL off the board, but if the injury worsens, Mauigoa could miss upwards of three months.

The Eagles remain open to trading AJ Brown, the Patriots remain highly interested in acquiring the star receiver, and conversations are expected to resume shortly on or before June 1, likely culminating in a deal, per league sources. As one source said about the Patriots' pursuit of Brown, they'll “definitely be engaging then.” A trade to New England is now considered likely.

Edge rusher T.J. Parker of @ClemsonFB is a force to watch in this year’s Draft.

Assuming the Chiefs are interested in WR Jordyn Tyson, and the Giants are as interested in Tyson as they appear, this is super bad news for KC. If the Chiefs have someone else in mind at 9, this is great news. And FWIW, I have no reason to believe KC is interested in moving into the top 4, as of now.

I’ve had some people send me tweets about the Chiefs talking trade with the Cardinals and Titans, even attributing it to @JFowlerESPN. I can tell you there is “Zero chance!” the Chiefs will trade up with the Cardinals or Titans.

#Giants GM Joe Schoen flew to Arizona to attend Jordan Tyson’s workout yesterday. Schoen also had dinner with Tyson the night before, sources told me and @RapSheet. With NYG at 10 after the Dexter Lawrence, Tyson’s odds of being a top 10 pick have now increased significantly.
