H.E Senator Uba Sani flagged off the distribution of the 2nd batch of palliatives to the poor & vulnerable citizens of Kaduna State. 128 Trucks of Rice and Maize worth N3.4 Billion were distributed to various LGAs.

The Commissioner, @KDHSSD, @salisu_haj earlier today represented Governor, @ubasanius at the official opening and swearing- in- ceremony of the 2024 Batch ' A' Stream 1 Orientation Course held at the Temporary Orientation Camp, Government College, Kaduna. @DepGovKaduna.

I received our dear son, Isa Muazu, who was brutally beaten by his teacher in Suleja, Niger State. Isa Muazu was led on this visit by the Commissioner of Human Services and Social Development, Hajia Rabi Salisu and accompanied by his parents, relatives and other young children who were rescued. We are glad that Isa Muazu is back home. However, there are other Isa Muazus out there who may be going through the same ordeal in the hands of their teachers. We must therefore be vigilant and beam our searchlights on those who have put in charge of our children or wards. The Kaduna State Government has initiated legal action against the teacher to ensure that justice is served and also serve as a deterrent to other culprits. I have directed the Commissioner of Human Services and Social Development to ensure that Isa Muazu and the other children undergo psychosocial assessment, after which they will be enrolled in school. A FINAL SEAL ON THE PEOPLE'S MANDATE The Supreme Court in a unanimous decision today put a final seal on the mandate freely given to me by the good people of Kaduna State. I commend the Honourable Justices of the Supreme Court for their sound judgement. I thank my dear brother, Hon. Isa Ashiru for embracing the legal process and ventilating his grievances. That is the democratic way and must be emulated by all persons and groups who are truly committed to the growth and development of Nigeria's democracy. With the legal disputations over, it is time for us to join hands to take Kaduna State to a higher level. We are running a people-centered, inclusive and pro-development administration. Our doors are open to all stakeholders in the Kaduna Project. Any citizen of Kaduna State who has something to contribute will be given an opportunity. It is about the glory of Kaduna State, not personal glory. Today's verdict by the Supreme Court is a reminder to all of us that we were given a mandate to better the lots of our people. Rather than engage in wild celebrations, we must reflect on the challenges ahead and collectively apply ourselves to the tasks at hand.
