We have also remained steadfast in advancing our development agenda. In agriculture, we are supporting farmers with essential inputs, improving access to land, and promoting modern techniques to enhance productivity and food security. In education, we are investing in infrastructure, reopening schools, and creating opportunities for thousands of out-of-school children to return to the classroom. We believe that education is the cornerstone of sustainable development and the bedrock of an enlightened society.
Our efforts extend to healthcare, where we are improving facilities, strengthening service delivery, and expanding access to quality medical care. At the same time, we are investing in youth empowerment, providing vocational training, supporting entrepreneurship, and creating pathways for innovation and self-reliance. By empowering our young people, we are securing the future of our state.
As we celebrate Eid el-Fitr, let us remember those who are less fortunate. Let us extend our generosity to the poor, support widows and orphans, and share our blessings with those who may be unable to celebrate. The true joy of Eid lies not only in celebration, but in compassion and giving.
To our youth, I urge you to uphold the discipline and values instilled during Ramadan. Your commitment to integrity, peace, and responsible citizenship will shape the destiny of Kaduna State and our nation.
As we approach a season of increased political activity, let us remain guided by the principles of unity and respect. We must reject divisive rhetoric and embrace dialogue that promotes understanding and national cohesion. Our diversity must remain a source of strength, not division.
Kaduna State occupies a vital place in Nigeria’s history and future. Our progress depends on our ability to live together in peace, guided by shared values and a common vision. Let this Eid mark a renewed commitment to building a society where justice prevails, compassion endures, and prosperity is shared by all.
May Almighty Allah accept our fasting, our prayers, and our acts of charity. May He bless Kaduna State with lasting peace, stability, and progress.

EID EL-FITR: “A RENEWAL OF FAITH, A REAFFIRMATION OF UNITY, AND A CALL TO HIGHER PURPOSE”
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
I extend my warmest felicitations and heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Kaduna State, across Nigeria, and around the world, as we celebrate Eid el-Fitr, the blessed festival that marks the completion of the sacred month of Ramadan. With profound gratitude to Almighty Allah, we acknowledge His boundless mercy in granting us the strength, discipline, and spiritual awareness to observe the fast and partake in the deep blessings of this holy period.
Ramadan is far more than a ritual of abstinence; it is a sacred journey of inner renewal. It calls us to a higher consciousness; one rooted in humility, restraint, and devotion. Through fasting, prayer, charity, and reflection, we are reminded of our accountability to Allah and our responsibility to one another. The Qur’an teaches that fasting is prescribed so that we may attain righteousness. Thus, the true essence of Ramadan lies not merely in its observance, but in the transformation it inspires within us: the purification of the heart, the discipline of the self, and the elevation of our moral conduct.
Over the past month, we have sought to embody the enduring virtues of patience, compassion, generosity, and humility. We have experienced hunger and thirst, not only as acts of devotion, but as reminders of the struggles faced by the less privileged among us. We have given in charity, extended kindness to neighbours, and renewed our commitment to justice and mercy. As we celebrate Eid today, we must ensure that these virtues do not recede into memory but remain alive in our daily lives, shaping our actions and guiding our relationships.
This year’s Ramadan carries a unique and powerful symbolism. It coincided with the Christian season of Lent, a rare convergence that underscores the shared spiritual values of sacrifice, repentance, and devotion among people of faith. While Muslims mark the completion of Ramadan with joy and thanksgiving, our Christian brothers and sisters continue their solemn observance. This moment offers a profound opportunity to deepen interfaith understanding, strengthen mutual respect, and reaffirm our commitment to peaceful coexistence.
Kaduna State stands as a testament to the beauty and complexity of diversity. Ours is a land where different cultures, traditions, and religions meet and interact. This diversity must not be a source of division, but a foundation for unity. It calls upon us to embrace tolerance, uphold justice, and work collectively for the common good. Eid el-Fitr, therefore, is not merely a celebration; it is a moment of reflection and renewal; a call to strengthen the bonds that unite us and to build a society anchored in peace and harmony.
The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW (Peace Be Upon Him) remind us that the best among us are those who are most beneficial to others. This timeless guidance compels us to extend the spirit of Ramadan beyond personal devotion into the broader sphere of social responsibility. Our compassion must transcend boundaries, and our actions must reflect a sincere commitment to the welfare of all members of society. When we uphold integrity, fairness, and respect, we lay the foundation for enduring peace and collective progress.
These values continue to guide our administration in Kaduna State. We recognise leadership as a sacred trust; one that demands accountability, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the well-being of our people. Since assuming office, we have prioritised the restoration of peace and security, working closely with security agencies, traditional institutions, and community leaders to ensure that our citizens can live and work in safety and dignity.

May Allah accept our fasts and prayers, and count us among those who will witness the next Ramadan. Amin

This is the point of equilibrium. The physical manifestation of a simple truth. Peter Obi, like he has always been, is just another politician. Nothing good or bad about it. He just is another Malami. He and Malami are one and same. Not good or bad, just equilibrium.

In respect to the Hawan Sallah In Kano
PRESS STATEMENT
KNSG SETS STRICT GUIDELINES FOR EID-EL-FITR DURBAR, MOVES TO PREVENT BREAKDOWN OF LAW AND ORDER
The Kano State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Abba Kabir Yusuf, wishes to inform the good people of the State and the general public that it has received credible intelligence reports through the State Security Council indicating deliberate attempts by some individuals to create confusion and instigate a breakdown of law and order during the forthcoming Eid-el-Fitr (Sallah) celebrations in the State.
While the Government remains fully committed to promoting, protecting, and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Kano, it reiterates that it will not compromise its primary constitutional responsibility of maintaining peace, law, and order, as well as safeguarding the lives and property of all residents.
In view of the foregoing, and after due consultations with the Kano Emirate Council and other key stakeholders, the Government has approved the following arrangements for the celebrations:
• Hawan Idi (Eid Durbar): This will be conducted by His Highness, Sarkin Kano Muhammad Sanusi II, from the Kofar Mata Eid Praying Ground through designated routes to Gidan Shettima, terminating at Kofar Fatalwa of the Kano Emir's Palace
• Hawan Nasarawa: This will take place in a modified form but NOT on horseback
• Hawan Daushe: This has been suspended for now and will be observed during subsequent Sallah celebrations, In-sha-Allah
• Hawan Fanisau and Hawan Dorayi: These have also been suspended for the time being in the best interest of public peace and safety.
Accordingly, all security agencies have been directed to intensify surveillance, ensure strict compliance with these directives, and take all necessary lawful measures to prevent any breach of peace before, during, and after the festive period.
The Government therefore calls on all residents to remain calm, law-abiding, and cooperative with security agencies, while also urging the public to avoid the spread of unverified information and to go about their normal activities peacefully throughout the Sallah period and beyond.
The Kano State Government also appreciates the continued dedication and professionalism of security agencies in ensuring the safety and stability of the State, and reassures the public of its commitment to a peaceful and hitch-free celebration.
The Government extends its best wishes to all Muslims for a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Happy Sallah in advance.
Signed:
Comrd. Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya,
Honorable Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs.

Kaduna Is First Amongst Equals In Land Administration — Dep Gov
Kaduna State has been recognized as a pioneer in the area of land administration and has been chosen as one of the pilot states of the Nigeria Land Titling, Registration and Documentation Programme (NLTRDP).
The Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe, disclosed this when representatives Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development as well as those from the World Bank paid her a courtesy visit at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, on Monday.
Dr Balarabe commended Governor Uba Sani for upgrading the Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), which enabled the Federal Government to select the state as one of the sub nationals that others will learn from.
The Deputy Governor noted that although the Kaduna State has made significant progress in digitalising its land administration processes, she however said that it needs additional support to accelerate ongoing reforms.
Dr Balarabe also promised that the state will collaborate with the Federal Government and the World Bank to ensure the success of NLTRDP.
Speaking during the courtesy visit, the Director General of KADGIS, Dr Bashir Garba Ibrahim, commended Governor Uba Sani for opening up new revenue lines like Sectional Titling, which is only operational at the Federal Capital Territory and Lagos State at the moment.
The Director General also listed Shop Registration and Farm Lease Programme as some of the revenue lines that Governor Uba Sani has introduced.
According to him, Kaduna State is regularising over 100 layouts that have not been documented, to enable people register their houses.
‘’So, with all these breakthrough, the World Bank also needs to intervene to help Kaduna State upgrade its system and make sure that all these activities are done seamlessly.
‘’We need an alternative Land Administration Software because the one we are currently using cannot accommodate the number of customers and activities that we want to embark upon.
‘’We need also to create a feedback mechanism through the Land Administration Software, where people can access their bills online, instead of coming to KADGIS physically to collect them; they can easily download their bills and make payments and also download their receipts online,’’ he said.
Dr Ibrahim also said that KADGIS has opened a unit that handles federal land titles, for those who want to register them in the state, adding that this will stop the issue of multiple claims.
Earlier, the delegation, led by the Director of Lands and Urban Development, Mr Alabi Collins, said that the World Bank will support the proposed NLTRDP.
According to him, the programme aims to reform Nigeria’s land governance and administration system by promoting efficient land titling and registration processes.
Mr Collins said that the goal is to unlock the economic value of land assets for government, businesses and individuals through improved documentation and transparency.
