The Kaduna State Hajj Delegation Committee has urged pilgrims in Makkah to pray for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani for Nigeria’s peace, prosperity, and the wellbeing of citizens.
Committee leader Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha made the plea during a visit to Kaduna pilgrims at Ibrahim Khalil Road, Misfala district, on Saturday, May 24, 2026. He said both leaders “deserve a second term” to continue their “people-oriented leadership at national and state levels.”
Mustapha, a former Head of Service, praised Governor Uba Sani for “leading Kaduna State with wisdom which belie his relatively young age.” He advised pilgrims to be law-abiding and follow both religious injunctions and Saudi laws.
The delegation includes Governor Uba Sani’s Principal Private Secretary, Prof. Bello Ayuba, District Head of Rigasa Arc Mohammed Aminu Idris, and Islamic clerics Dr Imam Tukur Adam Almanar and Malam Abdullahi Rabiu Ishaq.
Speaking earlier, Sheikh Haliru Maraya of the Special Hajj Committee said Governor Uba Sani has engaged 85 officials, including clerics, to guide pilgrims in Muna. “The Governor is not only concerned about the welfare and wellbeing of Kaduna pilgrims, he is equally concerned that they achieve Hajj Mabroor,” he said.
Maraya noted that a cleric has been assigned to each tent housing Kaduna pilgrims. “This is unprecedented and Kaduna State is the only subnational that has taken this extraordinary step,” he added, praying for Allah’s reward for the governor.

I am issuing this medium to clarify facts and correct misinformation regarding the Titin Dogo Road project. A video currently circulating falsely claims that the road was paved without a proper foundational base. This claim is entirely inaccurate.
In reality, the construction strictly adhered to standard engineering practices. The road was prepared with a crushed stone base followed by a primer coat. Because a specific section had remained unpaved for some time, it required manual asphalt application and minor remedial work before completion. This targeted repaving was strictly limited to a small, localized section—not the entire road.
The project has strictly adhered to all approved engineering specifications and standard procedures required for durable asphalt road construction.
Attached are the original photos of the section featuring the certified stone base. The Managing Director of KADRA personally inspected the project yesterday and explicitly confirmed that the work meets all required quality standards.

2027: Kaduna APC Unanimously Endorse Tinubu
Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Kaduna State have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as presidential candidate in next year’s election on Saturday.
The affirmation exercise, conducted across all 255 political wards in the 23 local government areas of the state, witnessed a large turnout of party members and stakeholders who rallied behind President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The exercise was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) alongside designated party officials to ensure compliance with laid down electoral guidelines and procedures.
In a massive show of unity and support, APC members from the Southern Kaduna axis to the Central and Northern Senatorial Districts, turned out in significant numbers to reaffirm their confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu, by endorsing him for another four-year term in office.
Governor Senator Uba Sani, who personally monitored the exercise across parts of the state, commended party leaders, stakeholders, and members for the massive turnout and orderly conduct during the affirmation process.
The Governor described the exercise as a strong demonstration of unity, loyalty, and confidence in the leadership of the APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Today’s overwhelming affirmation across the 255 wards in Kaduna State is a clear reflection of the confidence our party members and the people have in the leadership of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“The unity, discipline, and massive turnout witnessed during this exercise demonstrate the APC’s strength and readiness ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“We remain committed to consolidating the gains of the current administration and sustaining purposeful leadership for the progress and stability of Nigeria,” the Governor stated.
He further urged party members to remain steadfast, united, and committed to strengthening the party’s structures and mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The exercise was peacefully concluded amid enthusiastic participation by party members, reflecting growing internal cohesion and renewed commitment to sustaining the APC’s leadership and continuity of governance at the national level.
Meanwhile, collation of results is currently underway across all voting areas in the state, with designated local government collation officers compiling returns for onward transmission to the Kaduna State Coordinator and Chief Collation Officer, Governor Senator Uba Sani.
Governor Uba Sani is expected to receive the final consolidated result and he is expected to formally present it to the APC Presidential Primary Committee in Abuja during the scheduled announcement on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Kaduna Pilgrims Head For Makkah, Complete Madina Rituals
Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency will convey the last batch of pilgrims to Makkah on Friday in record time, after spending the mandatory four days in Madina.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa from Madina on Friday, attributed the evacuation to Governor Uba Sani’s adequate support to the Agency.
Quoting the Director of Operations of the pilgrims agency, Alhaji Abubakar Usman Yusuf, the statement noted that the Governor’s support enabled the commencement of early preparations for the pilgrimage, beginning with the weekly sensitization of intending pilgrims in Nigeria.
“The exercise educated our pilgrims on all aspects of Hajj, the rules of Saudi Arabia and how they should conduct themselves throughout the pilgrimage,” Abubakar added.
The statement argued that “that foundation laid the ground of the smooth conduct of all the Hajj rites in Madina,” adding that the Agency’s officials did not encounter much challenges with Kaduna State pilgrims.
The Director of Operations also commended the Kaduna State Hajj Delegation Committee under the leadership of Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha, former Head of Service, for giving over all guidance during the pilgrims’ sojourn at Madina.
Alhaji Abubakar recalled that the State Hajj Delegation had visited Malam Sani Garba, a pilgrim that was hospitalized at the Almiqati General Hospital in Madina, alongside staff of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency.
The statement further disclosed that Malam Sani has been discharged and has left for Makkah on Thursday.
The Director of Operations also commended the members of the Special Hajj Committee and the Management of Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, for housing pilgrims at Misfalah district in Makkah, along Ibrahim Khalil Road, situated within a walkable distance to the Masjid al-Haram.

I am profoundly honoured and deeply humbled by the overwhelming confidence reposed in me by members of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), following my emergence as the party’s gubernatorial flag bearer for the 2027 Kaduna State Governorship Election. The resounding affirmation of my candidacy, reflected in the 459,393 votes cast in support of our shared vision, is far more than a political endorsement; it is a solemn expression of collective faith in the ideals of unity, responsible leadership, and inclusive progress that bind us together as a people.
I extend my deepest gratitude to the leader of our great party and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose steadfast leadership and unwavering commitment to national renewal continue to inspire confidence across our nation. I equally acknowledge the National Working Committee of our party, respected stakeholders, delegates, youth and women groups, and the countless loyal party faithful across Kaduna State whose trust and solidarity have made this moment possible.
