I hate when you call the gps to discuss your medicine doses being changed randomly & not having enough. To be told that if someone feels it’s an emergency they will call & if they don’t then try calling again tomorrow. So you then have to wait all day not knowing if they’ll call!

One of the neighbours has been having A party with the loudest speakers all day, the base is so loud I can feel my heart race with the awful music their still playing. They haven’t turned it down with it getting later. It’s ridiculous. People are so selfish when they do this

Spending another Easter in hospital and the long weekends really drag. I’m still in after needing dialysis when my kidneys failed. Could do with a pick me up #cardiff #penarth based ideas

It’s been a whirlwind of hell these past few weeks, I’ve been too unwell to go online. I got rushed into a&e with sepsis &a kidney infection. Since then my kidneys haven’t worked & I was put on dialysis. I’m hoping to have a kidney biopsy this morning, wish me luck as I’m nervous

Day 36 in hospital- In the past month I’ve made the best progress, I’ve been transferred back to my Cystic Fibrosis Centre. Happy days! I’ve also recovered to a certain extent that I don’t need any more dialysis for the time being. Now to watch how kidneys continue to recover 🤞

I was expecting to live around 10 years (per the data) when I started #dialysis aged 14 in 1998. So today, 25 years later & my 40th birthday 🥳 is a somewhat welcome surprise!!! I have learnt some stuff - thought I would share it ❤️ thanks for all the good wishes! /1

I’m thinking about getting an electric car. I’m what you would describe as a city driver. As I don’t do long distances, am very conscious that we need to make a change in how we get around on roads & pollution. Please can you share any experiences with your #electriccar thanks

Today is my 8 year double lung transplant, I thank my donor daily for the life she has given me. It is so miraculous to have this extra time, I feel extremely lucky for life each and every day. Thank you

2/2 I also sent out 2 bigger hoops. I wanted to create curled up animals, one a dog for a friend that had sadly passed recently & the other an elephant. These are the 2 designs I came up with & love how they both turned out despite planning on doing them the same to start with

1/2 For Christmas I created 35 hoop embroideries to give out at Christmas. It’s why I haven’t posted art for a few weeks. I gave them to those I felt deserved a little treat. Here’s some of the designs. I loved making them, Including most of the designs for them

Having Mark Hamill, a childhood hero wish me a happy Birthday was definitely a highlight of my 40th this week! ❤️Thank you to all those who have wished me happy birthday too. It will take me some time to read through them all, I feel so honoured xxx

IM 40 TODAY, just had to say out loud so I actually believe it, I still think I’m in late 20s in my head! The drs never thought I’d reach this milestone & I’m quite shook in all honesty as my 30s were a miracle to make. My donor has given me 8 more years so far, I’m so grateful
