Ummm… Colins lawyer said Colin is in a 3-week program and then goes to Basic Training. That sounds an awful lot like the Army’s Future Soldier Preparatory Course, the pre-basic program for recruits who need to improve ASVAB/academic scores or body-fat/fitness standards before moving on to actual Basic Combat Training. So no, I’m not saying he wasn’t accepted. I’m saying the wording matters. Was he going straight to Basic Training, or was he first placed into a preparatory program because he still had standards to meet? Because those are two very different things.
