Iran is negotiating an end to the Strait of Hormuz blockade if countries switch from using the US Dollar to the Chinese Yuan An end to the Petrodollar would cost the USA $3tn GDP/year This has been an incredibly expensive failure for Donald Trump and the US for now, and forever

Afroman, best known for his 2000 hit song, “Because I Got High,” won a defamation lawsuit on Thursday filed by seven Ohio sheriff’s deputies. The saga begun over a 2022 raid on Afroman’s home, legal name Joseph Foreman, by the Adams County, Ohio Sheriff’s office. The raid was part of a drug and kidnapping investigation according to the original warrant. Nothing illegal was found in the musician’s home, and no charges were filed. Foreman subsequently alleged that the officers vandalized his home, and stole money. In response to the raid, Foreman released a series music videos featuring his home security footage of the raid. The footage included one notable moment where an officer paused to look at a pastry on Foreman’s kitchen counter. That inspired the most popular song of bunch, ‘Lemon Pound Cake.’ The sheriff’s deputies said they were publicly harassed in the wake of the video series release, and sought nearly $4 million in damages. The case sparked conversations around the constitutional right to free speech and the limits of parody, which Foreman noted in an Instagram video after he emerged victorious, stating, “We did it America! Freedom of speech! Right on!”

Russia's foreign intelligence (SVR) offered to stage a fake assassination attempt on Victor Orban to aid his election. Anyone now wondering if similar occurred in the 2024 US election?

This is the funniest thing I’ve seen on the internet. Afroman had his house raided by Ohio Adam County deputies… who found absolutely nothing… broke his door, trashed his place, allegedly had $400 go missing… and then they refused to pay for the damages. So, like any reasonable rapper would do… He turned his home security footage into music videos, mocking them. And then, the deputies sued him for FOUR MILLION dollars… because they didn’t like being made fun of. And Afroman’s response? He dropped ANOTHER music video. In his own words: “Unconfidential informant lied to Police to get out of some trouble. Adam County Sherriff officers made a mistake by believing the lie. Raided my house, found nothing, refused to pay for the damages and filed a lawsuit against me, Afroman, for exercising my freedom of speech! This is me holding trial in one song. I hope you enjoy it.” They said his videos “ridiculed” them… so he decided to show them what that actually looks like. And the best part? A jury basically said… yeah… you don’t get to raid someone’s home, end up in their surveillance footage, and then cry because they used it to make fun of you.

Wu Tang is for the Children
Of course MAGAs are now mad at HBO and threatening to boycott because, let me check my notes, the show "The Pitt" portrayed a very realistic scene of ICE Nazis kidnapping a patient in the ER and arresting a doctor saying the show demonized ICE agents 🙄

Moskowitz: Allegedly, Corey Lewandowski was shaking people down. He was saying, ‘If you want a contract, you’ve got to go hire this firm.’ That $100,000 number we heard, where anything over $100,000 had to come to Kristi Noem’s desk—well, it turns out it did go to her desk, but Corey Lewandowski was sitting at her desk. And that was really all about Corey being able to see where the money was going so that he knew who, allegedly, to go shake down. You don’t know who to shake down—you don’t know who to force to hire you as a lobbyist—if you don’t know who’s owed money from the department. That obviously created a tremendous amount of bureaucracy and slowed the department down as well. Then he put his minions in all of these places—on the procurement teams—so he would have insight into procurement. He could tell them: this goes to that company, this goes to that company. The committees are going to ask for bank records. They’re going to see all sorts of things. I think what we’re going to find is that his wealth has increased dramatically.
