I trapped my first feral catand got it fixed on Wednesday! 🎉 The clinic thinks he's about 4 months old and advised me to release him the day after surgery.. I haven't released him yet because I feel incredibly guilty about bringing him back outside. I keep thinking I can socialize him since he's still young and lets me pet him. He's completely sent by me and hides in the corner of any bathroom we put him in. I know it's probably best to release him, but I feel terrible knowing he won't have the security, warmth, and love a house cat should have. Looking for reassurance! Any advice would be appreciated!

having babies as a woman today: at 19: "that's too soon, you should be on birth control" in college: "too early, you need to work" in your 20s: "wait, you have your whole life ahead of you" at 30: "you're too old you need IVF" they make women feel like they can't have kids until it's too late no wonder why nobody is having babies

Or ask about guns in the house… yep. They separated me from my son at 12… he’s 21 now and I stupidly said sure! Doctor asked about guns in the house and my son loved to tell him all about my husbands, former cop, my dads, former marine and my step dads fully automatic guns they got to “play with” last time we were in TN. I got the lecture on locking them up and all kinds of shit from a brand new very liberal doctor who knew nothing about guns but “saw what they do when they’re used on kids” because he did a rotation in the ER.

This post has a quarter of a million “Likes” in 48 hours Americans are losing it realizing they work more than peasants used to work “I've actually f*cking had it with the United States of America — I gotta go to work 40 sometimes 50 hours a week only to get 2 weeks of paid vacation — peasants used to get 154 days off. I'm not even treated like a f*cking peasant” “I can't f*cking do this shit anymore. And all while this shit is happening, they're f*cking constantly attacking your psychological — y'all just kicking me when I'm f*cking down. I can't go anywhere because they f*cking hate us — while a ruling class of Satan-worshipping, baby-eating pedophiles comes for my f*cking kids every way, or form B*tch. Taxes, fees, fees, taxes, tolls, taxes, check engine light, taxes, tickets, taxes, pedophiles, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes. B*tch, I'm done” For reference: 2500 B.C. The Pharaoh took 20% of the slaves’ harvest. 2025 A.D. The government takes 35–60% of your income through income tax, FICA, sales tax, property tax, gas tax, inflation, and fees.

@SaltyGoat17 The fee generally does not apply to employees already in the U.S. on an H-1B who are extending their status with the same employer.

Foreigners taking American jobs is about to end! Trump raised the H-1B Visa fee from $1,000 to $100,000. It won’t be economically feasible for companies to hire foreigners anymore! Who else 100% supports this?!?

@WallStreetApes “I just wanna know how the f*ck does one owe so much money in taxes when they got no money?” It happens when you don't pay enough in taxes during the year. Maybe someone else should be doing your taxes.

American works full time, she doesn’t own a home, “I don't own anything crazy” She just did her taxes and “I literally sh*t my f*cking pants” Despite working full time, not making any big purchases, she has no money but owes $17,000 in taxes She says if she were to pay her taxes, she would actually be negative money after working all year just from paying bills and taxes “I just wanna know how the f*ck does one owe so much money in taxes when they got no money?” As of 2026, data shows the average American does not have any substantial amount of money left at the end of the year after bills, taxes, and typical spending In fact the number is so low, that after taxes the average American typically only is able to save 4% of their money after bills Insane

The problem with birth control and its effects on women's brains is that, as far as we know, the effects are permanent. The shrinking of the ventromedial prefrontal cortex--which regulates fear and emotional control--is not reversed by cessation.

I took my 11 year old to her checkup this morning and the nurse asked me to step out of the room for a moment. I politely declined and she said, "It's just for a moment." And I told her, "No thank you, given all the stories about children being abused my husband and I decided to never leave our children alone with anyone, even medical providers. Anything you need to do or say you can do with me in the room." She looked all miffed and just left, no idea what her plan was but she didn't feel the need to continue it with me present and that makes me even more suspicious?? When she left my daughter thanked me for not leaving, she's already shy about the doctor, her eyes got so wide when the lady asked me to leave.

I’ve told this story before - my grandmother sent me to the home of a dear friend, who had become a widow in her 70s. No kids, she and her husband had a fabulous time pursuing career, hobbies, travel. Then as their friends died off they got more and more isolated. When her husband died, she had no one but a caretaker to make her meals. A nephew was going to help her with her finances and she was terrified that he was taking advantage of her. I went to the house to meet the guy and the woman. I’ve never seen a sadder scene. She was sitting alone in the corner of a beautiful room, in a beautiful house, surrounded by all the things they accumulated. She took me through the house to show me all of their stuff. Her artwork. His writings and his office, still left as it was the day he died. And she had no one. I am sure she would have given anything to have children and grandchildren to fill her life up. We have a hard time thinking long term. We need to think long term much more often.
Uzi@UziCryptoo

Friend of mine is 35 years old, married and doesn’t want kids. His household income is roughly $300k/yearly and his house is nearly paid off. They invest a good portion of their income for retirement, take multiple yearly vacations and live a nice life. I think people like this are going to regret not having kids in their future. One day when he’s old all he will have to look back on is the random stuff he bought and wasted money on. Instead of putting that money towards having kids and building a family he’s choosing consumerism. This just seems so wasteful and boring to me.
