I knew this narrative was going to start coming this week & im so excited for it Let’s talk about 2011, 2017, & 2023 for starters 2011 Alabama skips the SECCG due to losing to LSU, bumped from the natty, in a wild turn of improbable losses, Alabama back doors they waited number 2…plays LSU again…didn’t even win the west or risk having to lose the SECCG like LSU did 2017 Auburn was in the exact boat Alabama is in now. Playoff locked, has to play a meaningless game vs UGA in Atlanta whom they’ve already beaten in the regular season. Dealing with a beat up team, they have everything to lose and nothing to gain 2023 UGA is #1 & undefeated, Alabama is #8 zero reason for UGA to be in this game & Alabama has all the marbles to play for. Alabama wins a close one & knocks UGA from the playoffs…and UGA was “punished” for losing…

This is a great point! @AlabamaFTBL wasted Justice Haynes at Bama trying to run Milroe every play. I remember screaming at the TV to give it to Haynes..who is now possibly the best RB in the nation. We have a scheme that wins by air-not by land. It’s a dangerous path to a title!

It's time to talk about Alabama's lack of a deep ball: - Alabama is 10th nationally in 10+ yard pass plays with 93. - But Alabama is only 70th nationally in 30+ yard pass plays with just 9. Even with a very hard schedule, it's hard to explain the huge falloff in long throws.
