I don't think a future govt would reverse a scrap to the triple lock. You could at least just make it match inflation. But anyway the more important thing is to 1/2

my opinion around the defence thing is that I think this Labour government hasn't taken defence as seriously as it should be the fact that there will only be a 0.08% increase over three years should be a national disgrace

@itmemish You’re conflating liberalism an inherently centre right ideology with social democracy a centre left ideology. A reduced welfare state, deregulation, gay rights, trans rights are all the hallmarks of a liberal.

@MMB1871 it just doesn't. She was a Conservative with Conservative Values and interests in big business, control, and surveillance. That is not even close to the liberalism Brown or Blair, or even Starmer.

Tbh i have a lot more respect for Starmtroopers who are remaining loyal even as things are looking... less than ideal. Over Blairites backing Streeting or right-wing Burnhamites. Still excited for an Andy Burnham premiership though.
