I notice a number of times, #Malawi national flag is not properly displayed in offices. It’s either flags r too big and meant for outside or flagstaff is too short. A flag should not touch or rest on ground. Torn flags are also unacceptable, I take it as an insult to a nation

⁦@sunbirdtourism⁩ Is this how you serve wine at your restaurant at BM airport? Much as I know this is not right, AI says filling a wine glass to the brim is generally considered poor etiquette as it restricts aroma development and prevents swirling.

My good friend @KenaMphonda has been consistent about flag protocols at Government institutions: tattered flags and all! A lot of hospitality entities in Malawi while displaying the national flag and other flags, breach key flag protocols around precedence and dispaly.

Since when did communities become judge, jury, and executioner? Why was she singled out? Not everyone in that area attended the funeral. Not everyone was cooking. So why was she tried, judged and punished? Having personal responsibilities is not a crime.

What happened this afternoon in Mzuzu, Home Bound Area 1B, is disturbing and dangerous. A woman was going about her business while others were cooking at a funeral. For that alone, community police with the help of other women apprehended her and tied her to a tree for hours.
