“If money is infinite, why is there poverty?” Because money isn’t wealth. It’s a claim on wealth. You can print claims. You can’t print the goods and services those claims are supposed to buy. Give everyone $10 billion and nothing gets richer. Prices just explode until that “wealth” buys nothing. Poverty isn’t a shortage of paper. It’s a shortage of production. Printing money doesn’t solve that. It hides it for a moment, then makes it worse.

Nobody just shows up out of nowhere and gets blasted across every podcast and feed overnight “organically.” That’s not how it works. There are people who’ve been studying and talking about this stuff for decades, way deeper, way more grounded, and they never get that kind of push. Then suddenly some “professor” pops up and he’s everywhere at once.

Let me explain exactly why every new subdivision in America looks like the top photo, because the math is wild. A mature tree increases a home's value by 7 to 19 percent. On a $400,000 house, that's $28,000 to $76,000. A single shade tree produces the cooling equivalent of ten room-size air conditioners running 20 hours a day. One tree on the west side of a house cuts energy bills by 12 percent within 15 years. The bottom photo is worth more, costs less to live in, and sells faster. This has been documented by the University of Washington, Clemson, Michigan State, and the USDA. The data is not in dispute. Removing those trees saves the builder roughly $5,000 per lot. Concrete trucks need twice the dripline radius of every standing tree. Utility trenches need flat ground. A bulldozer flattens 200 lots in an afternoon. Preserving trees adds weeks and thousands per home. So the developer pockets $5,000 in savings and the buyer eats $50,000 in lost value for the next two decades. The person making the decision and the person paying for it have never been in the same room. The Woodlands, Texas is the proof of what happens when they are. George Mitchell bought 28,000 acres of Houston timberland in 1974 and preserved 28% as permanent green space. He forced McDonald's to build behind the tree canopy. That McDonald's became one of the highest-volume locations in Texas. The first office building, designed to reflect the surrounding forest so you couldn't see it from the street, leased completely. The Woodlands median home price today: $615,000. Katy, a comparable Houston suburb that clear-cut: $375,000. Named #1 community to live in America two years running. Fifty years of data. The trees are worth more than removing them saves. Developers clear-cut anyway because they sell the house once and leave. You live in it for 30 years.

@cb75075 @JordanEVGuy Reading your favorite bloggers online is NOT RESEARCH. Research is actually understanding the math and science behind reality itself. Do you understand the laws of thermodynamics which are the force behind weather? NO? Then what exactly are you researching?

We’re supposed to believe a radical 1% over 99% of actual practicing climate scientists? Not just someone who adds herself to a list because she “has a degree”. My degree is in Sport, but I haven’t worked in that field for over 10 years. It might look impressive at first glance, but not really. Most on that list aren’t even climate scientists, with some of them being dead. Independent reviews suggest just 1–3% have relevant fields. The overwhelming majority of actual climate scientists, around 99% based on Google Scholar data are very clear that climate change is real.

@JordanEVGuy Humans love hysteria especially "end of days" hysteria. The religious have their Armageddon, but what are secularst to do? Let's freak out over a "scientific Armageddon" by... NOT understanding the science but pretending that we do:

It's perfectly legitimate to say you can see the influence of UAE, Qatar, Saudis, Israel and Russia. And we can debate who he's more influenced by, though any rational person sees it's Israel by a lot! But to say Israel has no influence, means you're lying with intent to deceive.

A lot of people in national media are back to saying Trump is controlled by the Russians. So they can't see Israel's control of Trump at all, but they see Russia's control? Are they kidding? Can anyone be that blind? Are they doing it maliciously or just most biased people in US?

@AdrianP_doc Any system that has a single vote to determine outcome is a dictatorship. WTF is wrong with western europeans? Do they not understand democracy? It has to be majority/plurality, NEVER-ESPECIALLY a veto vote. It's a blackmail vote. I'll keep voting NO until I get what I want.

Unanimous voting, was a primary cause of the political paralysis, anarchy, and eventual destruction of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and its absorption into hostile empires. The EU has to not only bypass but fully eliminate the veto power of rogue members like Hungary or face it's own destruction by malicious outsiders.

In December 1989 Romania's dictator, Nicolae Ceausescu, made his last official international visit to, of all places, Iran, where he met Ali Khamenei. The agenda was cooperation on energy and strengthening economic and political ties. Oddly enough, Ceausescu was presenting Romania as a stable country, ready to back Iran on a hostile international stage. A few days after this picture was taken, Ceausescu was lying in a pool of his own blood, shot by soldiers who were sworn to defend him and his regime. Romania's revolution, imperfect as it was, only succeeded because key figures in the regime betrayed their master and the army sided with the people. Neither of these things are happening in Iran today. Or if any political or military leaders are thinking about it, we will never know because the US and Israel a killing anyone who might steer the country in a different direction. It's incredibly naive to believe Trump and Netanyahu want the Iranian people to live in a free and stable country.
