@LewisMenelaws Disagree with this take. I run a highly profitable YouTube channel with comparatively small overhead (we are a team of 2.5 including myself) and we are able to produce a few videos per month. I work 40 hours per week, have a healthy work/life balance, and don’t aspire to more.

The classic YouTube paradox: > YouTube creates a place where solo creators can make videos and actually make a living off of it. > Create an algorithm that forces creators to non-stop produce. > Only thing to do... hire people to help. > Now you've "sold out" because the company (YouTube) maintains a facade that "anyone can express themselves!" but really they created an algorithm that forces you to run a production business.

It wasn’t too long ago where these numbers were in the double digits across platforms, so its inspiring to see some substantial growth ❤️ This year I spent a lot of time refining and learning, Numbers aren’t everything but it’s nice to know that my hard work is paying off in a way that I can measure. Biggest video in 2025 was my Assassins Creed cover which gathered over 51,000 views, 6,000 likes, and 1,400 saves on TikTok alone, breaking my personal record for any video. That said, my favorite videos to make were the ones I made with other talented people, I absolutely want to do more of that next year! 🕺Message to Artists 🎤 If you’re a singer, or play an instrument, a story teller, cosplayer or a performance artist, let’s collab on a song, video or something cool! My DMs are always open, all I ask in return is a little patience as I do all of this between family time, work, and other passions 🙏 I can handle the recording, mixing, mastering, filming, editing and advertising for us, my intention is to get more artists (preferably local New Mexicans) in front of more people! Artists should be celebrated for our dedication, heart and authenticity, never replaced by AI slop, and I will fight that battle to the f***ing death. 🔪🤖
