@MKBHD M6 2nm will step-up thermals. Latest leap was M1.
So 14" M6 Max will be more cooled than 16" M5 Max (which currently has the best thermals for that power).

Fully retired my Mac Pro today 🫡 and switched to an M5 Max 16" Macbook Pro. Let's see how long this lasts.

@MKBHD I'm leaning towards a max out Mac Studio soon for editing and coding. The freaking Anker Dock is for my MacBook is bigger than a Mac Mini

@ChaudharyAchyut 16" because of editing on the go, and the apparently 15-20% thermal performance in the bigger chassis with the same chip. I do still edit videos. Big Final Cut guy here

@MKBHD Just curious why you tend choose:
- 16” (as you tend to use monitors anyway)
- Max chips (you have multiple editors)
- M5 (as you just got M4 skipping M2 & M3)
- Mac over Windows (that has good GPU cards & are customisable & expandable)
