@watchinthesky Wister Unit is low profile but absolutely amazing birding. Between Wister and Sonny Bono Unit One, they can really compete against the best birding spots in the country. I just wish the infrastructure and visitor support (HQ hours and visitor center, guided tours) was better

@UrsulaV @duo_mobile It's not a home remedy, but there is also a mouthpiece thing that holds your throat open somehow. They do a 3D scan of your teeth and then do some rubber band stuff to keep your jaw in place. It's been working pretty well for me once it was adjusted correctly and I got used to it

Are you tired all the damn time? Do you snore like a freight train? Furthermore, do you ever swear you DIDN’T sleep but other people are like “you were snoring!”?

I told doctors for years I was tired all the time, to no avail. They told me to just power through it and stay awake. One literally told me that “some people just need more sleep than others.” Eventually my husband was like DO YOU KNOW YOU STOP BREATHING AT NIGHT?!

@jimnorrisiv @JasonKirell North American cuckoos rarely lay their eggs in other birds' nests. More likely a brown headed cowbird, depending on where Jay took the pictures. (there are a couple other types of cowbirds in NA)
