It was embarrassing as an American. Zelensky could have fled the country or at least sent his wife and young kids somewhere else, and he chose to keep them all there to show solidarity. That takes REAL courage, and to be talked down to that way is just awful. All he was saying were facts. He's signed agreements with Putin before that he's ignored. You can't blame him for being skeptical, although the US wasn't involved in those other agreements. They have treated the aggressor and the dictator better than the man who's country was invaded in 2014 and again in 2022. We should be better than this.. And I voted for Trump btw, so this isn't about being on his side or not. It's just the truth. JD Vance was probably the worst one. Who the hell does he think he is to scold Zelensky like that, and tell him he's being "disrespectful".. No wonder so many in the world hate us.

What just happened in the Oval Office was nothing short of remarkable. What began with questions about security guarantees for a ceasefire with Ukraine turned into an angry shouting match between Trump, Vance and Zelensky. Trump was fuming, ending with, “We have empowered you to be a tough guy…You either make a deal or we are out. You don’t have the cards.”
