🚨 BREAKING A new chapter begins in Hargeisa as the capital welcomes its new Mayor. Congratulations to Abdulrasaq M. Farah Wiiwaa on his appointment, taking the helm of one of the Horn of Africa’s most dynamic and rapidly developing cities. All eyes will now be on his leadership as Somaliland continues to gain international attention.

The President of the Republic of #Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Cabdiraxmaan Cirro), is expected to conduct another cabinet reshuffle this afternoon. According to information obtained by SAAB TV, the upcoming changes will encompass a series of dismissals, new appointments, and the reassignment of various government officials across the administration.

A lot got packed into this report by @lemondefr on cooperation between Somaliland and Israel deepening. Members of Somaliland intelligence service have gone to Israel for training, whilst Israeli military delegations have been in Hargeisa.

According to this retarded woman, the majority of people in Sanaag would rather live in a genocidal communist regime that killed the ulema than live freely in democratic Somaliland (they don’t).

yeah like i said we had sultanates . so why would someone from Sanaag choose the genocidal regime in hargeisa over Bari? People from Bari don’t refer to people of Sanaag as faqash. People from Bari weren’t apart of SNM and killed civilians in Sanaag.

@chopperwith_ This is such a low iq take. Is there something called Arabweyn? Or levanteweyn? Somaliland its is own country. We were separate long before colonial borders. Go read up on ur history. Good thing is idiots like you have no say in this matter

Beyond the competing international interests, lie the hopes of Somaliland’s people Without foreign aid or peacekeepers, it has achieved security and self-sufficiency in a volatile region on a meagre $400m budget It has elections, a currency — but is blocked from world markets

7 of the 10 local players are reported to have defected from the national team camp in South Africa. Ablelom Teklezgi, Nahom Tadese, and Romel Abdu are the only ones who returned to Eritrea. [@AtvAsena]
