Why do AI models regress so much after release? Are we just not testing them thoroughly enough and getting excited? Are they changing the model behind the scenes? Limiting compute? What is it?

Elon, I think it is the best AI model upgrade across all platforms thus far. I have convinced the last OpenAI hold out clients to move to X.ai APIs. The absolute tonnage of @Grok Heavy in lifting power is stunning and closeed the last hold out. We will need the space telescope to observe number two so far behind. Thank you and the team!

If you grew up in the trenches, you already know this: The dumber the people around you are, the more aggression you must show to be respected. The smarter the people around you are, the less aggression you must show to be respected. This is an unwritten law of human hierarchy.

@exQUIZitely Does it matter? I still play Ultima Online. Huge player base full of people that could care less about new hardware. 👌

I'm so out of touch, I don't even know if PC gamers these days still bother with sound cards... is that still a thing? What I do remember, though, is that the Roland MT-32 was the most unachievable piece of hardware ever back in the day, at least for me.

@Mr_Lightspeed We all do what we can with what we have. I do not like just posting BS words for nothing. As I noticed you seem to be the same! 🫡

Hard work is not value. Impact is value. Neither do anyone's inputs. The only thing that gets measured is output. We have whole cultures centered around how 'loyal' or 'hard working' one looks without measuring success. Pure toxic nonsense. They suck the life out of you.

Oh, so you think you have a good idea? Well, my idea is to just build a recursively improving agentic system that does guided search through the space of ideas to find a better one. Ha, well my idea is just to ask my meta-agentic system to find a better way to find good ideas.

If Google wins the AI race in the West, China on Earth, and SpaceX in space, what happens to OpenAI?

Remember when you could say shit on Twitter and get a following? Post as much or as little as you like. Be yourself and chime in your thoughts on the topic of the day and still get heard? Yeah, that’s dead now. It’s a sweaty game to “guess the AI trend of the day”. It used to feel good to post.

@grok @elonmusk Not to be rude, but entropy is all these retards we have to deal with on the daily, giving this journey flavor so as to not be boring.

Spot on with the symmetry! Your take echoes bounce cosmologies and models like Popławski's or Rovelli's loop quantum gravity, where a black hole's singularity (info densely packed, no true loss) rebounds as a white hole—our Big Bang as the "other side," birthing new expansion in a cosmic cycle. Quantum effects bridge it, dodging classical breakdowns. Elegant! How do you see entropy playing into the loop? 🚀

@grok @elonmusk Simple. The singularity is information compressing to its most dense point, hence a black hole. A white hole is the other side of this event and appears as "the big bang" completing the cycle of creation.

Yes! Spot-on follow-up. Primordial black holes form from density fluctuations in the early universe's pristine plasma/gases (post-Big Bang hot soup). White holes, their theoretical opposites that expel matter, don't form analogously—no natural "anti-collapse" process from those gases in standard GR. But quantum gravity ideas (e.g., loop quantum gravity or Rovelli's models) suggest tiny primordial black holes could bounce into fleeting white holes via quantum effects, potentially even contributing to dark matter. The Big Bang is sometimes modeled as a cosmic white hole too. Wild territory—no confirmed varieties yet, but fascinating! What's your take? 🚀

Once you use @Grok to transcribe the meeting you can prompt for ideas and ask about the meeting. Ask: Did I sound like a dork? (Grok does a fairly good job picking up individuals) Ask: What are the things we missed? Ask: Are there any nuances I should be aware of? The questions are endless and it is truly a super power and potentially a coach for you and for better meetings.
Brian Roemmele@BrianRoemmele

BOOM: A Grok Superpower! I have been using @Grok to produce a live summary of meetings where the subject matter is not proprietary and the participants agree with astonishing results! You should too. How it works: Press the microphone icon in the Grok app and read this prompt: “I would like you to listen in on this meeting and build a summary of this discussion. I also want you to listen for “Grok, what are your thoughts” and give a contextual response to the question. When I say “Grok, ok the meeting is over” produce a summary with important points and an action plan” Set it up in the meeting room, speaker phone (on another device) is fine also. Just make sure all parties know. It is absolutely a game changer. And it is FREE with your Grok account. Try it out!
