Some idiots are saying the real Challenge for Arteta is to defend the league successfully. Idiots, they are. The real challenge lies with Carrick, can he end Manchester United's 14 years drought? Can Liverpool and Slot show the world that they spending £500m and finishing 5th was just an accident? Can Maresca prove to us all that he is a worthy replacement for Guardiola? Can Alonso get Chelsea to win the league for the first time in 10 years? People just want to deflect, Arteta has shown us what he can do, the ball is now with these other clubs' managers to show us what they can do.
