@BTC_Saves_Us @PeterSchiff need to restore confidence by investors, and at the same time need to seize the opportunity and increase your credit rating. How do you do that? They get criticized for the instrument that never existed a year ago. Nobody even knows what it is and how it works. They’ll be fine.

Despite Bitcoin's 2.5% rise, $MSTR is down 2.5%, increasing the discount. That means if MSTR sells more discounted shares to buy Bitcoin, the loss to shareholders will be even greater. Maybe shareholders are finally wising up and selling rather than waiting to be sacrificed.

@PeterSchiff @scottmelker And let me propose you scenario let’s say STRC goes to 50 bucks and bitcoin goes down 20. What’s stopping in MSTR to buy back some of those STRC shares then? It is deeper discount. It is no obligation after buying back.

@scottmelker Yes, until the dividends are reduced or suspended completely.

$STRC pays its dividend based on the $100 liquidation preference, not the market price. If the dividend rate is 11.5%, that’s $11.50 annually per share. Buy at $100 = 11.5% yield. Buy at $90 = 12.8% yield. Buy at $85 = 13.5% yield. Same dividend. Lower purchase price. Higher yield. That’s why STRC trading below par is attractive to income investors. People seem… confused.
