Virginia Scope: Virginia Senate Majority Leader Scott Surovell (D) rules out proposal forcing the retirement of Virginia Supreme Court justices in order to get a different ruling in the redistricting case. Surovell said the idea would be “too extreme.”

This is such horseshit, and to give just one example: The reconciliation process was supposed to be for deficit reduction. But George W. Bush wanted to pass giant tax cuts. The parliamentarian said it couldn't be used for that. So Republicans fired the parliamentarian.
