You can cherry pick 10-15 year old tweets where he talked tough about Iranian nukes or threatened reprisal if Americans were attacked. But you have to ignore his entire last campaign cycle where he strongly emphasized "No new wars". Just last year he claimed Iran's nuclear program was already obliterated. If this was reprisal for attacks on Americans or backing a strong internal resistance movement it would have broad support, but instead it's a regime change war of the sort he campaigned against.
