🇺🇸🇮🇷 Americans just got hit with an extra $8.4 BILLION in fuel costs since the Iran war started. That’s $240 million PER DAY! Gas is now $4.10 a gallon, up $1.30 since January. People are getting absolutely screwed at the gas station every single day. Source: @KobeissiLetter, CBS News

🚨 With the Strait of Hormuz choked, this turns into a supply shock and not just a price spike ~20% of global oil flows through that narrow strip, so whoever depends on Gulf barrels suddenly discovers how fast “strategic reserves” turn into a countdown clock. 🇺🇸 United States ~19 mb/d mostly domestic. Still exposed to price shocks because oil is a global market, but physically insulated compared to everyone else. It hurts at the pump, not in the supply chain. 🇨🇳 China ~16 mb/d with heavy Gulf exposure. Not helpless, but rerouting isn’t instant and demand is massive. 🇮🇳 India ~5.6 mb/d with limited reserves. This is where “crisis mode” stops being dramatic and starts being policy. 🇯🇵 Japan and 🇰🇷 South Korea have stockpiles, but no domestic production. The clock is real here. 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia can bypass some volume via pipelines, but nowhere near Hormuz scale. 🇷🇺 Russia stays awkwardly comfortable, sanctioned but largely self-fed. 🇩🇪 Germany isn’t running out tomorrow, but high prices hit industry first, which is its entire personality. The question who consumes the most though is strategically incomplete. Consumption matters less than dependency in a chokepoint crisis, and right now the chokepoint decides who sweats. @jackprandelli, @TankerTrackers

@EliLake @denton_doyle The only enemies of Jewish people are the Israelis government with @netanyahu as a lead! They are doing amazing job by creating more hate toward Jewish people every day and until Israel sees a regime change within its government this won’t stop.

You cannot remove all of the highly enriched uranium, nuclear grade, in Iran without going into the tunnels and facilities deep underground to get it.  I don't know what the administration's plan is, but I am guessing this is at least one reason why there are public reports that some of the special forces are being called up and deployed.  For Nancy Mace to say no ground troops or I won't support the war effort is, to me, utterly irresponsible.  The administration is not talking about amassing troops for some big ground campaign, according to public reports.  Mace is now running for governor of South Carolina.  I have never been a fan for several reasons.  I trust the president to make prudential decisions in the military campaign, as he already has.  His use of the military in Iran and Venezuela has been brilliant and precise.

@marklevinshow Maybe at 68 you should retire, play with your grandkids, volunteer, go fishing and leave our great country of 🇺🇸 to us “younger folks” that are required to pay for all of you “old farts” mistakes that you have accumulated over the last 40-50 years! 🇺🇸 🥇!

Why don't you join the military and fight? This slogan is used repeatedly by the isolationists and some others who oppose defending our nation from foreign enemies.  Of course, the purpose is never to substantively discuss the merits or demerits of military action.  It's intended to end all discussion.  Like calling someone a racist.   A few points. My family has fought in wars, including WWII, at Iwo Jima, Guam, and Guadalcanal.  But I don't have to defend myself for voicing my views on matters of high import, such as national security.  We are all Americans and we can all speak out on public matters, especially those involving war and peace.  It affects us all.  That said, if you favor more police on the street to protect your neighborhood, do you have to have served as a police officer?  If you support ICE enforcing deportations under our immigration laws, do you have to have served as an ICE agent?   Moreover, why should only those who are isolationists, pacifists, appeasers, or simply oppose military action in a given case, be able to speak or promote their views, even though their views may, in fact, influence my well-being, the well-being of my family, and the well-being of the nation, if their viewpoints win the day?  And if I consider their views to be dangerous, should I not engage in the debate and argue for mine?  Or, if I earnestly believe we face a national security threat, should I keep my mouth shut?   Therefore, when I see the Iranian regime developing nuclear weapons and ICBMs, chanting death to America and threatening us, killing and maiming thousands of Americans over the last 47 years, funding terrorism aimed at, among others, our countrymen, attempting to assassinate our president twice, and slaughter tens of thousands of their own people, as well as their embrace of an ideology that demands the elimination of all people, countries, and societies that hold different religious and societal views, and my conclusion is that this regime is a grave threat to our country and humanity and must be destroyed, the answer is that I should join the military if I urge our government to take action against it?   Of course, at 68, I doubt the military would have me anyway.  And we have a professional armed forces with volunteer heroes who train to defend our nation.  But this isn't the point, is it.  The issue is not whether I join or do not join the military.  If I and others, including a president who has never served in the military, conclude that military action is required to protect us, that decision is a prudential one, not one of military service or not.  And I dare say many of those who sloganeer have not served, either.  And still others are not earnestly concerned about our military or who did or did not serve but, instead, are perhaps sympathetic to the dangerous foreign regime and its ideological pursuits.  In the case of the Iranian regime, for example, we are all potential victims of their nuclear project.  When they chant death to America, that means all Americans.  When they fund terrorist groups who kill and maim Americans, that involves all of us.  In other words, what we do or do not do as a nation will affect all Americans. There is no litmus test for some but not for others, particularly when that litmus test is applied by one side against the other.  I could say much more about this, but the entire subject is absurd.  But it required some response, albeit limited.   I am deeply appreciative of all the heroes who volunteer to defend our nation.  May God watch over them all and protect them from enemies, foreign and domestic.

As someone who grew up in a home with domestic abuse, not only would I not have flown on his plane if I had any inkling of what he was doing—I would have turned him in myself and led the call for justice for his crimes, not sweetheart deals.

@LauraLoomer @SusieWiles @TuckerCarlson Maybe all of the GOP members should take a loyalty test and you should revoke 🇺🇸 citizenship and move to 🇮🇱. @TuckerCarlson is asking all the right questions but problem with you and minions like you is that you don’t like what he is asking.

Source tells me a group of GOP members of Congress have contacted the White House to request a meeting with Susie Wiles @SusieWiles and the President to discuss Tucker Carlson’s @TuckerCarlson vitriolic hatred of Jews and his efforts to divide the GOP ahead of the midterms. It’s totally reached a breaking point. Tucker needs to be condemned by President Trump and banished from the White House. GOP Rep tells me, “anyone who demands all Jews be forced to take a DNA test belongs nowhere near the White House.” Cc: @PressSec @StevenCheung47

VP of Sales submitted an expense report for a client dinner. $800 for three people to "celebrate the deal." They ordered sushi and drinks. I asked if the sushi was flown in from Tokyo. He laughed. I didn't. Expense denied. He asked how he's supposed to cover the cost. I told him the same way he covered his decision to order $240 worth of sake. Personally.
