And I won't include Alfie Osborne either because I assume that's an academy signing. My issue is that the BlueCo never seem to hesitate when it's another young project, but when proven players like Victor Osimhen, Mike Maignan or, most recently, Granit Xhaka are available and ready for the move, we're told the fee is too high or the wages don't fit the club's structure. If BlueCo promised to fully back Xabi Alonso to convince him to join Chelsea, is this really how they've promised to back him?

@ENZOIZU Has never lived up to the €120M the Club spent on him. He was supposed to be the face of the project but his football abilities fall far short of expectations. If he leaves, we all hope it works, it will be the Club cutting its loss & starting something truly exciting.

Love him or hate him… when Enzo walks out that door, Chelsea loses another piece of its fight. He was one of the few who actually showed up when the pressure was highest and the project was lowest.
