The reality is that those of us overseas won’t be able to get any of the Pokémon 30th Celebration Japanese products at RRP, unless you followed my guide on how to access drops from Amazon JP or Pokémon Center Online. Nevertheless, I wonder which of the two will drive the market?

I’m 100% for this. Until scalping isn’t an issue, sell to those who want to rip and don’t care about resale value.
I collect sealed and would have no problem buying an ETB for msrp if the condition is they cut the wrap.
Want to “invest” in sealed, go pay market price since it will always go up lol.

It is pretty wild to see Abyss Eye booster box selling for around $120-140 out the gate while Mega Dream is around $120-140.
One set that other than the Darkrai chases will completely tank versus a set deemed to be Top 5 sets of all time.

@SakurasCardShop It’s pretty crazy that the current hype is pushing prices to highs even if the set is not that good at all. We have Mega Dream selling for around the same price as Abyss eye preorder. And it’s crazy.

I was given an estimate yesterday of 20,000 yen based on abyss eye. Of course we are far out from emerald. But based on the over hyped butthole mega Darkrai, this set will most likely be more expensive. Idk about 30,000 yen but could be looking at 15-18,000 yen release. Or higher
