@thechelskikid @patmurphybbc I even had the Peter Bonetti goalkeeper’s kit bought by my parents for me at Frank Blunstone’s shop in Battersea. Sadly, I stopped growing at age 13. More positively, I turned into Chopper Harris (I couldn’t be an Osgood!)

I recall interviewing Peter Osgood for my Radio 5 series in 1993, asking him whom did he like among modern players. Instantly he replied ‘Big Eric… Eric Cantona. He’s got the lot as an attacker. Reminds me of myself’. Wasn’t said in a boastful manner. Osgood was good - very good

During negotiations with the BMA, the Government actually scaled things back at the last minute. They reduced the investment on offer, then spread it over three years. They then removed 1,000 extra specialist training posts - that’s 1,000 fewer future potential GPs and consultants for the NHS and for the public. Wes Streeting needs to stop shifting the goalposts and put forward a credible offer on both jobs and pay, to end the resident doctors strikes.
