Trading AJ Brown for 2027 picks would be a Jalen Reagor like Howie move. If the bridge is burned behind the scenes at least the 1st rounder being 2026 you had a chance to replace AJ with a 1st round calibre WR. I don’t see how you trade AJ without having a WR1b in place first

@PAPAxC4 Drafting Omar cooper is a win now move, and doesn’t even rule out drafting another receiver in 2027. The roster is already Super Bowl caliber, we just need another edge rusher and safety and we’re good. Just imagine having that 2027 first as a luxury.

@PAPAxC4 I am not sure how you think getting picks in 2027 means the Eagles can't find a WR replacement. That is a major leap. I also don't think you can expect Brown to be replaced by a stud WR instantly. Point is, if you are trading Brown. Trading for 2027 picks is the smart move.

@PAPAxC4 Trading for 2027 picks is smarter in every way. Better draft class, highly likely the pats don't do as well this year so better picks too. Eagles already have a lot of picks in 2026. I would be thrilled and would prefer the picks be next year.
