@SpencerHort_ @VoteTrevorLee Great advice! Legislators represent everyone in their districts and should be concerned of the most vulnerable and making a positive impact. Leave the district better then they found it.

@VoteTrevorLee If you proposed a constitutional amendment as you desire, it would be destroyed at the polls. The majority of Utahns do not share your callous and unfeeling view of immigrants. I encourage you to go and meet with immigrants in your district.

@VoteTrevorLee We’ve been told time after time that illegal aliens cost us nothing. In fact, they are a net gain to us! Sure, they get free education, free health care, free food stamps, free housing assistance, free phones, and undercut American workers, but really, they benefit us!

Utah is a really fun place because someone just said a slur in class (not knowing it was a slur), specifically a slur that has been directed at my family, and I flinched, screamed internally, and then had to continue taking notes.

@madihawes Yeah many BYU students are very unaware of their racism (especially micro aggressions). One of my favorites said to me at BYU: “Oh, but you are not like the other [insert my race here], you are more educated and formal” Anyways, I pray for the LDS

@madihawes Once at a church thing I heard someone say the N word and he just kept bearing his testimony. No one reacted at all except me and a black child. We got up and left.
